The Monterey Green Lawn Pigment is a highly concentrated lawn die that provides long lasting results. It is mainly applied on dried-out lawns and replacement to overseeding on dormant lawns, bringing them back to a nice green color. This lawn pigment can be applied using a regular hand-held pump-up sprayer; user can just adjust the rate of application for desired color. Once dried, the pigment would not track back indoors. This product can also be used as a treatment product for dead spots due to pet urine and spot treatment to touch up dry spots.

PRECAUTIONS
This product may stain. Do not walk on lawn until the application has dried. Avoid drift and overspray to sidewalks, patios, lawn furniture, fences, painted surfaces, swimming pools, fountains, etc. Do not apply to waterways. Do not apply to wet turf as it may delay drying of Monterey Green Lawn Pigment. If accidentally spilled or sprayed, wash off immediately before product dries. Clean all equipment immediately after use.

How often will you have reapply this product. Will it wash away after a heavy rain fall
When using Monterey Green Lawn Pigment you would need to re-apply as needed, generally once a month. This is a pigment that is absorbed into the actual grass blades. Rainfall would not wash this product away however, long times of unusual rainfall might make if fade a little faster requiring re-applications sooner.

I live in Zone 6.
The Monterey Green Lawn Pigment is only a colorant for turf and not an herbicide so there are not any known restrictions on zoning for this product.
Monterey Green Lawn Pigment is safe for pets after the treated area has dried.
The Monterey Green Lawn Pigment is designed for returning damaged or dead lawns to a green color with the pigmented paint so we couldn't say if it would look natural or work for spraying dried out bushes or shrubs. You are welcome to try the use rates given on the Product Label to see if you can find a color range that suits your needs.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. Fill spray tank half full with water and then add desired amount of Monterey Green Lawn Pigment to handheld or power sprayer. Add the rest of the water to the tank. Shake well before use.
RATE Apply 6-12 ounces per 1 to 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Test spray and adjust rates to achieve the desired color.
