Product Overview

Hi-Yield Fast Acting Gypsum is designed to loosen compacted clay soil and restores salt-damaged soil to help revitalize it and let you grow lush and beautiful plants all year long. It features the innovative AST (Advance Soil Technology) which helps improve soil structure to allow better water penetration and enhance the establishment of seeds. This results in stronger root development, faster seed germination, and increased yield and plant health. It also binds soil particle to increase water infiltration and minimize erosion and soil crusting, as well as retain Sulfur and Calcium more effectively to prevent nutrient waste. This product provides essential nutrients and promotes better air circulation in the soil which is vital in establishing a good foundation to help you grow strong and healthy plants. It is recommended for use on lawns, flower gardens, vegetable gardens, and ornamental beds. It can be applied anytime but ideally works best during spring and fall. Also works on bare spots from the urine of animals. Available in pelletized formulation for easier and mess-free application. Safe to use around pets, people, and the environment. Comes in 4 lb. bag and covers up to 1,000 sq. ft.

Can you damage your lawn if too much Hi - Yield Fast Acting Gypsum is applied?

I had a beautiful lawn. I've noticed over the past few years a was getting a little moss. This year it took over large portions of my lawn. I had a lawn service come and take a look and they told me it was because of bad drainage in the soil. I didn't know if this product would help. And if so should I put down two times what is recommended because drainage is so poor.

It is not recommended to use other amounts than what is listed on the product label when applying Hi-Yield Fast Acting Gypsum.  You can injure your lawn applying over labeled rates.
