I am in Southern New Jersey with tall fescue "athletic blend" and Kentucky Blue I just and overseeded. If I wait 60 days from seeding then apply late fall will this prevent certain weeds from coming in in the spring?AYes, ProMate Barricade 0-0-7 is labeled for use in the fall for winter weeds. Apply in two applications for best results about 4-6 weeks apart. If you have new seed make sure the grass is well established before applying.
