Looking the active ingredients up online, the description of Geraniol is a repellent.AAccording to the manufacturer the active ingredient in Pyranha 1-10 FT is mainly a repellent product but it does have some insecticidal properties.

Your misting system should be timed to only come on during hours when the area is not being used. While Pyranha 1-10 FT Exempt Misting System Concentrate doesn't contain anything that would harm children when it is dry, it would most likely be irritating if sprayed into the eyes or on a child's skin…
