Rat Magic is formulated to effectively and efficiently repel rats and other rodents from around areas where rodents is a potential problem. This formula can naturally drive rodents using a distinct combination of crucial oils making it an environment-friendly choice and safe to use around pets and people. Rat Magic is biodegradable and comes in a 5-pound jug and can treat up to 1000 square feet or create a 2-feet barrier that is 500 feet long. Rat Magic will not harm gardens, flower beds, plants and lawns when used as directed.

NOTE: Effective rodent control begins with good cultural practices such as exclusion, and sanitation. To keep rodents out of structures and premises, be sure all points of entry are sealed, including attics and basements. Also be sure all sources of food are secured, including animal feed, bird food, pet food and table refuse. Severe infestations should be cleaned out prior to using this product. Revenge Rat Traps may be helpful in this regard. Do not apply to furniture, painted surfaces or fine finishes without testing on a small inconspicuous area first. Do not apply to edible crops.
Rats are not repelled

Purchased two containers of this product. Placed as directed along perimeter of neighbors fence (where they were developing) and along my own fence line. Next morning, sitting outside enjoying coffee, rat comes through the fence, ran along the fence line right through the two foot wide strip of product, not even phased by the smell or whatever else is in the product. Would not recommend this at all. I plan to purchase commercial grade poison found at home improvement store to deal with this issue.

Despite the recent rain in my area I have no seen any indication of rodents creeping around my garden, therefore I have no other choice but to highly recommend this product to anyone that is experiences a problems with, opossums, gofer and raccoons.

Rat Magic Rodent Repellent should not be applied in the attic or crawlspace. It is can be applied to garages, barns, gardens, sheds, stables, trash cans, woodpiles, patios, decks, cellars and as a perimeter barrier after exclusion has been done to the home. Rats are living on motor and chewing up insulation and possibly wires
Rat Magic is a granule repellent that could be spread easily around the area (do not use indoors such as in a garage) to help deter rodents.
To protect individual vehicles you may want to consider using T-Rex snap traps beneath the vehicle and resting on the vehicle tires overnight. Tamper-resistant rodent bait stations loaded with bait such as Fastrac Blox will help reduce the level of mice and rats if there are more on the property to a more manageable level. Rat Magic Rodent Repellent is for outside use only and should not be applied in the attic. A better option inside would be Nature's Defense Mouse & Rat Repellent Packets which can last up to 30 days

We would suggest if you have not done so already that you call in and speak to one of our customer service representatives to ensure that the Rat Magic is going to be the best thing for your needs and situation. Since every home and rodent problem is different there is not a one size fits all and with repellents, you have to be very particular with how and where they are applied to be effective. We only allow returns on unused merchandise. If the product has been used it is no longer in retail condition and we cannot accept the return.

Returning items to DoMyOwn is easy. Returns must be received WITHIN 90 days from the date of purchase.
To qualify for a refund, all items must be returned unopened, in their original condition at the time of sale, including the original packaging and all tags, labels, containers, documentation, etc. Do not mark or deface original manufacturer containers in any manner. We will not accept returns if packaging is opened or not in its original condition - we will return such items to you. If you reject that return shipment, DoMyOwn reserves the right to liquidate the inventory and withhold credit.
