    Q
Will Rodeo kill weeds growing in the water?
I have a pond that was dry and the weeds began to grow. We got a few days of heavy rain and the pond filled up before I got a chance to kill them. Can in get in my boat, spray the tops of the weeds and get a good kill?
    A
Rodeo is a great aquatic and landscape non selective herbicide and should control most any water weed you may be trying to eliminate. You can see mixing instructions on the Product Label.

  • Asked by Tommy from Wilmington, Nc
    02/17/2015
    Q
Do you have a formulation of imazapyr for use on phragmites australis?
Or anything else that will work on phragmites?
    A
We do carry products with Imazapyr in it. The products are not necessarily labeled for phragmites so we are unable to recommend items where items are not specifically on the label. We do have Rodeo Herbicide. It is labeled for partial control of phragmites in southeastern states. This is a glyphosate product and could potentially kill what it touches. We would recommend solely spraying the phragmites. You will use 2 2/3 fl. oz. per gallon of water.

    Q
Do you carry Aqua Star herbicide 2.5 gal, manf. by Agri Star, Albaugh, Inc.
Its a herbicide with 53.8% Glyphosate, N-(phonomethyl) glycine and other ingred. Or know where I can purchase it?
    A
We did carry a AquaStar by Agrisel but it has been discontinued and is no longer available. It does not appear that the AgriStar brand is available so we would not know where you could purchase it.  We do carry Rodeo which has the same active ingredient and would be comparable.

  • Asked by Jerry from Lindenhurst, Il
    10/22/2014
    Q
Does Rodeo work on Eurasian Milfoil?
    A
Rodeo Herbicide  is not labeled to treat Eurasian Milfoil. Reward will do a great job! By using a surfactant with the Reward herbicide will increase the penetration of the product throughout the entire plant for faster results. Water milfoil can be hard to control so make sure you do a good heavy coverage on the surface.

Can Rodeo Herbicide be used in flower beds to control weeds and grasses without killing the flowers?
If this can not be used in flower beds what do you recommend? I have weeds and grasses in my flower beds.

Rodeo Herbicide can be applied as a spot treatment around the non edible vegetation. Fertilome Ovet the Top is one of the most popular to treat grassy weeds in flower beds.

    Q
    Will Rodeo Kill bamboo?
I tried quickpro, but more Weirder I have yellow bamboo growing. or as I call it "Dead bamboo". Would this be a upgrade to it? if so.. would I take this and just mix so much with water or do i have to get that other stuff it says to mix? thanks
    A
Honestly any glyphosate product may or may not do the job right off to control the Bamboo. Since bamboo roots go so deep, you would need to apply either a product like Rodeo/Roundup QuikPro at the highest rates directly to the fresh cut stump of the bamboo after you cut it down level to the ground, or use a brush and stump killer undiluted directly on the fresh stump.
