As long as you water in the Sevin Insecticide Granules they will break down in the soil and disperse as they are designed to. The only thing not watering immediately would do is prevent the insecticide from working until you applied the irrigation.

Sevin Insecticide Granules do not have to be watered in inorder to kill fleas. You can apply a light watering to help activate the active ingredient. As always with flea treatments, we recommend using a liquid residual mixed with IGR like in our outdoor flea control kit.
