Worth the extra money
By Mike on 08/14/2013
I had a flea infestation under my back yard shed. I tried all types of sprays and canned foggers with IGRs, but nothing worked until I got desperate and spent the extra money to try Shockwave. With a simple propane fogger, Shockwave worked great! It created a dense fog that penetrated cracks and crevices under my shed to eradicate the fleas fast and effectively. I now no longer have fleas jumping on my legs when I walk around my shed, thanks to Shockwave.

By Randy on 08/25/2011
I use this as my secret weapon on roaches it has more products in it than just pyrethrens it's like you put in Conquor, Archer, and kicker with BP-100. I use this in our B&G Portable Aerosol System (PAS) simular to an Actisol.

Not for automatic misting systems
By Barbara on 09/11/2014
The description above says specifically for automatic misting systems. I bought it and used it for a year and had to replace 55 nozzles that clogged. Also, when I cleaned out the drum there was an oily residue on the bottom. I called and this information (for misting systems, mix with water) was confirmed. However, it contains petroleum, and the detailed five page label says for outdoor spot treatment only, to dilute with oil, and not to get on plants and anything that might stain. Save yourself grief and expense and use something else.

Great product-some bonus victims too
By John on 09/26/2015
Got tired of pest control contracts. Just bought a home and now live out in the country. Have chickens etc. Anyhow, the birds are next to my shed which obviously attracts flies. Golden Malrin is great for this, but I also go camping and wanted something to whack other things too like skeeters. Anyhow, I decided to blast the shed to get any spiders, flies etc out so I could rebuild the inside of it for a shop. Laid down the fog and closed the doors. Came back next morning and had a big surprise. Whole shop was covered in 10s of thousands of dead red ants. Literally coated. Did not even know there were ants in there as we just bought the place. Nice bonus! Thanks

Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is not for use around livestock premises or grazing areas.
Also, what is the oil for the mixing and where can I get it?

The active ingredients in both of those products are different. The Shockwave Fogging Concentrate has an insect growth regulator in addtion to insecticides and the ULD BP-100 Fogging Concentrate is only an insecticide for knockdown.

i think fleas are breeding under my mobile home. when i turn on my air conditioning the eggs and larve and cocoon like things get blown in thru my vents. i have to keep material folded double to keep that stuff from entering. will the shockwave kill them and all their debri if i use it under my trailer? i have skirting around the bottom of my place . i am going to use a ulv fogging machine to apply it
The label states to mix with oil but I am not sure what they are referring to.
The oil recommended to use with Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is referring to a technical grade mineral oil that is commonly found at local hardware stores or farm stores. We do not carry mineral oil for fogging concentrates.
Shockwave should be mixed with oil or undiluted (as directed) depending on the insects your targeting and the application site. Please refer to the product label for specifc information.
Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is only for use in a ULV Fogger and cannot be applied using a handpump sprayer or backpack sprayer/mist blower as this product is designed for use undiluted in mechanical sprayers, which gives particles of aerosol size.
View our ULV Fogging Equipment for options to use with Shockwave.
We are fogging tonight with shockwave
Once you fog an area, do not remain in treated area. You should be waiting at least an hour or so for Shockwave Fogging Concentrate to disperse and dry before allowing people, children and pets back in the area.
Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is only for use in a ULV Fogger and cannot be applied using a backpack or handpump sprayer.
An alternative for a fast kill and residual inseticide against scorpions would be Onslaught Fast Cap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide which contains a powerful combination of active ingredients for multiple modes of action but cannot be tank mixed with Cyzmic CS. Please view the full product label for more information.
Cyzmic CS is mixed at 0.2 to 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water with the 0.8 fl oz being recommended for scorpions.
Please view our Scorpion Treatment Guide for more information.
While Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is labeled to be applied to walls, floors, and other surfaces indoors, it is oil based so there is a possibility of an oily residue left behind. Any open floor spaces can be cleaned with soap and warm water to remove any unwanted residual.
Please view the product label for more information.

Or would they need to be separated from sprayed areas? I'd like to fog the entire farm all at once.
Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is not labeled to be used around barns or livestock at all, so this application is not recommended. Pyranha Bug Armor would be a better choice for the area and is widely used.
As long as you keep animals/children out of the area while you treat and until the product has had time to completely dry or settle it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity, typically after a few hours.

16oz. canister
Shockwave Fogging Concentrate states safety info regarding a respirator under the Caution area on the product label: Wear a pesticide respirator jointly approved by the Mining Enforcement and Safety Administration and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health under the provisions of 30 CFR Part II
The Combo Classic would be one you could use that is approved.

can i put in sprayer
The Shockwave Fogging Concentrate should be used in a fogging machine. Can you please tell us a little more about where you are treating and what the target pest is? This is an oil-based product, so if used inside a home, it may leave an oily residue on hard surfaces like flooring or counters. Any food, utensils, etc. would need to be removed or covered prior to using this product.
