New Upgrade from the old SolaMist Mosquito and Insect Misting System!
SolaMist Mosquito and Insect Misting System, now includes double the tubing length of 45 feet to 90 feet and 20 nozzles now instead of 30, using only Wifi and no touchscreen for more spray coverage and flexibility. It is a great product that keeps any area you wish clear of all the nasty pests that can ruin your day. From mosquitoes, spiders, gnats, wasps, ants flies, and even roaches, you really don't want these pests anywhere near you and your family. SolaMist Mosquito and Insect Misting System is completely non-toxic and environmentally safe. Requiring only SolaMist's Pro Concentrate and water, this product also helps your bottom line as well. Being completely solar powered, the 16-watt solar panel lasts a week of misting time from four-hour charge in the sun. This system is Wi-Fi only and may be operated by an iphone, ipad or google app (search the itunes or google stores for "Solacom"). The app alerts fill level, manages spray schedule and you can reorder concentrate directly from app. This misting system comes with a 12 gallon reservoir and all parts of the system included.

IMPORTANT:
Your SolaMist needs to be in the shade to keep the battery cool. It needs to be charge for a full day before use. SolaMist is battery powered when charged from the solar panel. You may also use included charger as well if you don’t want to use the panel.
Use only with SolaMist Pro Concentrates, other brands may clog nozzles.

Ordered the solamist about 6 weeks ago and I am fairly happy with it. When I received it I got on the phone with the manufacturer for best way to set it up etc. They were very easy to work with so for that I was happy. The system does what it promises its going to do there are some nuances with the system which I have been in contact with the manufacturer about and they have shrugged their shoulders at the issue thus far. # 1 need to be within 5 to 7 feet of the unit when using the remote. Any more than that and the unit will not trigger. # 2 Mobile app interface does not trigger the unit to work. even with the unit and the phone both on the same Wifi network. This latter one they could not explain as they checked their servers and they see the message to spray come into the server but it never makes it to the unit. I tried the unit with the Solamist solution that it came with but although I did some mosquitoes who perished after the spray I still got sung a few times and had to abandon the outdoors. After speaking to Solamist team again they recommended Pyranha p10x as this should not clog the nozzles. I have only tried this once this past sunday and it felt pretty comfortable. maybe this will do the trick. I will post an update after a bit more time. Overall satisified with the product. Only reason I do not give it 5* is due to the mobile app feature which i believe needs improvement. I will remain in touch with solamist and provide an update if any improvements are observed.

Preferably, you want the nozzles of the SolaMist Mosquito and Insect Misting System to be at least 5- 6 feet off the ground per the manual. The unit itself should just be placed on the ground.

How much area (or square footage) does this product cover? I will be putting it along my 45' deck, in a straight line.
The SolaMist Mosquito and Insect Misting System will spray out about 6 feet per manufacturer, and will the unit will roughly cover aobut 7000 sq. ft. 14,000 sq. ft with the extension kit.

I have a open backyard with no fence and plan to install the unit on the along the back of the house and around the sides only. I was wondering if i would have the same protection if I had a fenced in yard.
