Speed Zone
By Bob in Mason, Ohio 45040 on 07/21/2014
Only 50% effective on the clover and less on on dandelions & etc. Not very satisfied at all!!
Expert response:
We are sorry that you are unhappy with your purchase. Many post-emergent herbicides will require a second treatment, especially in the summer months when weeds may not be actively growing. Per the product label: "Spray when broadleaf weeds are young and actively growing for best results. Speed-Zone Lawn Weed Killer may be applied in the spring, summer, or fall. Spring and fall treatments under adequate soil moisture conditions are preferred to the summer treatments. Broadcast (entire areas) applications or follow-up applications at 2-6 week intervals are recommended for more mature weeds, for dense infestations, and for adverse environmental conditions. Spot treatments during the summer may be appropriate for sparse infestations, or as a follow-up treatment, or any time broadleaf weeds are susceptible." Please let us know if you have further questions by calling us at 866-581-7378 M-F 9a-6p EST.

Expert response:
Thank you for taking the time to review this product. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the performance of this product. Please keep in mind that when treating for Virginia Buttonweed, selective post-emergent herbicides should be applied in April or May at the latest, when the weed first appears in your lawn and is young and tender in it's earliest stage of growth. In the mid-summer months, when the weeds are fully established and strong, you will need multiple applications to have any effect whatsoever on this difficult to control weed, regardless of the product you are using. You may also want to refer to our Virginia Buttonweed Treatment Guide linked below for more detailed information on controlling this weed. We appreciate your business! https://www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-virginia-buttonweed-a-812.html
