    Q
I used Suspend SC for roaches and there are tons more roaches now. Does that mean it's working?
    A

Suspend SC is labeled for roaches and should do a great job helping you eliminate the infestation. It is possile that after the first application you may see a couple of more roaches than before, but you should start to see some results after 3-4 weeks. This product is designed to kill insects, including roaches, that cross it’s path. It is not designed to eradicate roaches alone in every situation. We recommend, that in addition to a concentrated liquid insecticide like Suspend SC, you also use a high quality roach bait gel indoors such as Maxforce FC Magnum to help get the roaches that hide in places where you cannot spray (cabinets, counter tops, drawers) as well as an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol Point Source to help stop the breeding cycle of the roaches. You can purchase both of these products together in our Roach Control Kit Rotation A. Instead of Suspend SC, Temprid FX is included in the kit in it’s place. Please take a moment to review our How to Get Rid of Roaches Guide for more information on implementing a successful treatment plan.

    Q
How long do I have wait after spraying with Suspend SC and mopping?
    A

Suspend SC when used as directed on the product label is only applied along baseboards and in cracks and crevices inside.  It would not be applied across entire floors where you would mop.  Only a small amount would possibly be on the floor along the edges of the room after you have sprayed and you should avoid mopping these areas as it will remove the product and the residual it leaves that keeps killing insects.

    Q
Dose Suspend SC kill bed bugs
    A

Suspend SC Insecticide will kill most strains of bed bugs however there are better products on the market now for bed bug treatments. There are resistant strains of bed bugs Suspend SC will not kill or affect. The most effective treatment for bed bugs would be to use Temprid FX along with an insecticide dust and contact/residual aerosol to treat all the necessary areas where bed bugs hide.

Bed Bugs require repeat applications every 7-10 days until you can go 30 days without seeing any signs of bed bugs. Please review our Bed Bug Kits that contain professional grade products to completely treat all the necessary harborage sites. The Kits come with full instructions and have a great success rate when per the product label and applied diligently. Please view our How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs Guide for more information.

    Q
If using Suspend SC Insecticide to treat for mosquitoes, how far should applications stay from water sources such as ditches, streams, pools, etc?
    A

We would recommend applying Suspend SC at least 15 ft away from a pool or body of water. Please make sure to spray on a non windy day to prevent any possible over drift or spray getting to the water as well as no possibility of runoff into the those water areas.

Please review the product label for more information.

Can Suspend SC be used for spiders on a boat dock?
    A

Although Suspend SC can be used to kill spiders, it cannot be used to spray around boat docks or bodies of water.

EcoVia EC would be a great alternative to treat for spiders and other insects on boat docks or around bodies of water.

    Q
Will Suspend SC Insecticide kill Camel Crickets?
    A
Suspend SC Insecticide is not labeled for Camel Crickets. Talstar P would be an better option if wanting a liquid insecticide to treat the both the interior and exterior of the home. Please review the product label for application rates and more information.

Another good option for Camel Crickets would be using Niban Granular Bait as a perimeter band around the foundation, trees, stumps, firewood, or as a scatterbait in localized areas. This can also be used indoors in approved areas on the product label.

    Q
Does Suspend SC work on stink bugs?
    A

Suspend SC is a very popular product for stink bugs and widely used by our customers.  The key to stink bug control is to treat in the fall when the stink bugs normally look for entry into a home.  Even more important is to make sure there are no cracks around windows or under doors.  You should seal all cracks and holes with caulk or other suitable material to prevent entry from stink bugs and other pests during the fall and winter.
