The active ingredient in Tempo SC actually is also in the Temprid SC along with the active igredient from Merit, Imidacloprid. In Temprid SC, beta-cyfluthrin (Tempo) provides a quick knockdown for immediate control, while the imidacloprid (Merit) provides long-lasting results and far-reaching control through a transfer effect but kills closer to do so. The two active ingredients affect targets pests differently, offering complete and unique control for the toughest pests, even when resistance is a concern. Tempo SC Ultra is labeled as pet safe when used as directed. We advise to keep pets and animals from the treated area for 1-2 hours to let the residual dry sufficiently for a better control.

Yes, Tempo SC Ultra will kill and eliminate various types of ticks. It is recommended that you mix the product at the rate of 8-16 ml per gallon of water. This can be used every 21-30 days as needed outdoors. Be sure to focus on the areas where ticks would be, such as on and around brush.
