Temprid SC and ExciteR are both labeled to be used in restaurants. ExciteR provides a quick kill and flush out of insects while Temprid SC will also provide a quick knockdown and a great residual. We recommend incorporating a roach bait such as Maxforce FC Magnum along with an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) like Gentrol IGR. Baiting and sanitation is key for any roach program.
Using Maxforce FC Magnum you get five times the active ingredient(Fipronil), plus a new technology called ContactX that kills roaches even when they just touch the bait. Other roaches touch or eat the dead roach and spread the bait again, controlling the entire colony, even the roaches you can't see.
Gentrol IGR is the "birth control" for roaches. IGR's prevent the immature roaches from becoming adults therefore they are not able to reproduce. Mix 1oz Gentrol with 8ml of Temprid SC in a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer per 1,000 sq ft area.
Topurchase you do not need a license as long as the state you are in is not listed on the website as not for sale to with Temprid SC. It is not available in a 55 gallon drum.
Temprid SC actually comes in our Bed Bug Kit Commercial and Commercial Roach Control Kit along with other products that are most recommended to treat for these pests. Temprid alone would not be enough to eliminate either completely.
Please take a moment to read over our Roach article and our Bed Bug article. Each will tell you how to treat for these pests and the products that you should be using.
When dealing with roaches, treatments should be limited to cracks, crevices and wall voids as this is where roaches spend most of their time. Using a combination of roach bait, insecticide, and an insect growth regulator will usually be needed.
Actually, Temprid SC is great for spiders and other insects including silverfish. It has a quicker knockdown and a long lasting residual. It is labeled for general pest control for many insects for indoor and outdoor applications. You will mix 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft and apply to indoor cracks and crevices once every 90 days inside and once a month to the exterior of the home.
