4 the Birds can be removed with mineral spirits and a putty knife. Scrape off the thick part of the gel with a putty knife and then use mineral spirits to get off any remaining gel.

If the area is inaccessible the bird will usually look for a new place to perch. If this is an area that can not be blocked off you can use a product such as 4 The Birds. 4 The Birds is sticky substance that you apply to the areas that the bird is trying to perch on. Once the bird lands on the area it will feel the 4 The Birds on it's feet and usually fly away. After a period of time the bird will learn that the awning is an unsuitable perch. -

JT EATON 4 THE BIRDS® is a transparent, sticky product that remains tacky at 15° F and will not run at temperatures up to 200° F. Birds do not like to land on this product or perch where this product is applied.

Most of the time woodpeckers are attacking your home because it is finding food under your siding, or insects. (Woodpeckers make noise on trees or homes to communicate with each other.) Sometimes applying a liquid insecticide, like Talstar P in the area where the bird is doing damage, will kill any pests behind the siding and therefore if there is no more food, the bird will go elsewhere. The bird could also be targeting the area for nesting material. You can try other non-spraying methods by placing reflective tape in the area or a fake owl or other bird of prey to deter the woodpecker. -

You could certainly use the 4 The Birds gel along the areas where the birds have tried to enter or rest to deter them from the home. Another option would be temporarily putting up bird spikes to not allow them to rest near that area at all which will push them to find other areas away from your home…

Another option would be temporarily putting up bird spikes to not allow them to rest near that area at all which will push them to find other areas away from your home. Make sure to seal up the hole they created well and make sure there is nothing in your attic attracting them through smell to make them want to come in. -
