You would usually drill through the Trebor Plastic Plugs if you need to retreat and then use a new plug when you are finished.

Most folks, will eventually seal up the holes with concrete. Trebor plugs work well to plug the hole to give enough time to make sure the treatment is done thoroughly. When used in concrete, it is best to seal the hole up with a concrete patch over time.
You can purchase the 1/2" Trebor plugs in packs of 50 and packs of 250.
These plugs can be placed flush with the concrete but they are pretty soft and if pushed hard they can be pushed down too far which would make an indentation.
