Good results

I use this to spot treat weeds rather than do a whole lawn herbicide application. Weeds are showing signs of dying off next day.

For over 20 years I have been trying to protect my lawn (100% Bluegrass) from Crabgrass. I’ve been only partially successful with other brands during the pre-emergent phase, but only if I apply at the correct growing point which is very difficult to calculate in my area due to a widely varying climate (long winter vs early spring). Inevitably some Crabgrass will always emerge late when the other brands become ineffective. After I discovered Trimec that all changed. Now I able to spot spray those problem areas and maintain a perfect lawn while my neighbors endure a multicolored mosaic of dark green Bluegrass and light green Crabgrass.
One thing to understand about Trimec versus other products is that it does not immediately turn the Crabgrass brown, but a slight yellowish green color after a week before the weed just wilts out of sight. Just maintain a surveillance and treat the new emerging weed for a few weeks and the problem is eliminated. Mix it according to instructions and you too will become a fan of the product.

Followed instructions and used hand held sprayer. All the crab grass is thriving.
