Please remember the amount of water used is not critical, but should be sufficient for uniform coverage of the target area. Calibrate by determining the volume of water required to treat 1,000 square feet. Cool Season Turf: 4-9 oz. per 1000 ft. sq.
Warm Season Turf: 6-12 oz. per 1000 ft. sq.

I am putting in a 1 acre corn field. Would the TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 work as a nitrogen fertilizer?

TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 is only labeled for use in turfgrass, so we would not recommend using it around anything edible such as corn. Please check with your local Dept of Agriculture for a product recommendation that would be safe for these areas.

Can Talstar P and 3 Way herbicide be mixed with TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0?

As long as you first do a small tank mix test, Talstar should be able to applied with the 3 Way Herbicide or TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0.

What is the nitrogen dry weight equivalent of TurfgrassPro 28-0-0?
My soil analysis revealed that my St. Augustine grass requires 3 lbs. of nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft., per year. What is the Turfgrass Pro 28-0-0 equivalent of that?

I am wondering what the ratio is per gallon of water? I know the recommended ratio in your description. But can this be mixed with water or is it a ready to use product?

Yes, TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 has to be mixed with water. Please remember the amount of water used is not critical, but should be sufficient for uniform coverage of the target area. Calibrate by determining the volume of water required to treat 1,000 square feet.

Proper mix rate for TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0
I have to use a hose end sprayer for my lawn. I attach the hose to a 32 ounce spray bottle. My yard is about 23,000 square feet. How much water should I use per ounce of the liquid fertilizer? Or, is it necessary to dilute the fertilizer at all if I'm using a hose end sprayer? Thank you.

TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 is not recommended to be used in a hose end application. The first thing you need to know when using a product such as TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 is that the exact amount of water you dilute it with is not important. It is only important to make sure you are using the correct amount of product per 1,000 sq ft of lawn. Use too much and your risk damaging your lawn, use too little and you will not get adequate results. You will need to use 4-9 oz. per 1000 ft. sq. for Cool Season grass and 6-12 oz. per 1000 ft. sq. for Warm Season grass. To decide how much water to use, you should mark a 1000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and start walking and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application. When you are done walking and spraying the 1000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix. You will need to make sure treated areas are irrigated with at least 1/2 inch of water (either rainfall or by sprinkler) following the application. TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 is a fertilizer for turfgrass only and will not control moss. You may consider Natural Guard Grass and Weed Killer non-Selective RTU to spot treat moss in lawns.

How much TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 do I use per gallon for KGB lawn to apply 0.5 to 0.75 lbs of nitrogen per 1000 sq ft for a total of 4 to 8 lbs per year? how many lb's of nitrogen per gallon.
Kentucky Blue grass wants (per 1000sq) .5 to .75 lbs. of nitrogen per application and 4 to 8 lbs. per year. but I don't know how to calculate 28% Nitrogen into Pounds. I see where this product suggests 4 to 9oz per 1,000 square feet, I assume that means per application, but how many applications per year.

As with any herbicide, fungicide, or fertilizer, applications with Turfgrass Pro 28-0-0 are made on an "amount of chemical per surface area" basis in order to make sure you get the correct results out of your treatment. Spread 4-9 oz over 1000 sq/ft (and you are correct that would be per application) in whatever water volume yields sufficient coverage for your grass type. Everyone's walking speed, sprayer output, height, turf density, etc all play a factor in how much water a person may use and can vary from applicator to applicator. The average suggested water volume to use per 1000 sq/ft for fertilizers in particular is 2-4 gallons of water to have the solution not only absorb through the foliage of the grass, but also being pushed into the roots and soil to be absorbed that way. You may want to fill your sprayer with water only first to see roughly how much water you personally would use to cover a 1000 sq/ft area, then add your fertilizer to that amount of solution.

Exactly how much TurfgrassPro 28 - 0 - 0 you apply per tank will depend on what kind of turfgrass you are treating as well as how large of an area you cover with each 4 gallon tank. On warm-season grasses, you will use 6-12 oz of the fertilizer per 1000 sq ft. For cool-season grasses, use 4-9 oz per 1000 sq ft. Typically you want to use at least 1-2 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft when applying liquid fertilizers.

We suggest applying Prodiamine WDG separately in this instance since the rates are very low for that kind of product but relatively high for the fertilizer, and it may be difficult to calibrate both of those applications correctly in the same tank. It may also be difficult to get sufficient agitation in the tank for even coverage when you are spraying.
