You can apply the 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium Solution when temperatures at the time of application are under 85 degrees. This does not mean that the temperatures cannot exceed that during the day, only that at the time of application they should be under this range, ideally in late evening just before sun down. We recommend applying when rain is not expected within 6 hours at minimum, but ideally 24 hours after an application to allow for adequate time to be absorbed into the plant and soil. As long as you use adequate water volume during application you would not need to water in after applying to the lawn. The manufacturer recommends applying every 7-21 days as your lawn needs throughout the season.

That amount of potassium you need, will determine how much of the product you will need per gallon of water. We do not recommend that you apply the product with a hose-end sprayer, but if that is the only unit you have to make an application you will need to make sure you can calibrate your hose-end sprayer, the range is from 5 to 23 oz of the product over 1,000 square foot area. 0-0-25 Liquid Potassium Solution can be applied to turf, ornamentals, trees, crops and hydroponics by both foliar and root feeding methods of application. The product label does list berries and tropical/sub tropical fruits which would include mango, guava and lychee (soapberries) at the rate of 2 to 4 qts per acre (1.5 to 3 fl oz per 1000 sq ft) in a sufficient water volume to thoroughly cover the plants. Berries: Apply prior to bloom. Repeat at fruit set. Repeat every 14 - 21 days until harvest.
Tropical / Sub Tropical Fruits: Apply on new major growth and on successive flushes. Spray monthly until harvest. Do not apply during bloom. We suggest reaching out to the manufacturer directly for product support regarding specific information on applications to your fruit trees and with other questions not addressed on the product label.
