The west coast has been invaded by supercolonies of small odorous ants. The colonies are immense and they start coming in in waves. Advion ant has worked great. I put a dot or two down, later follow the ant trail as far back as I can, then put a thin line. Gets rid of MASSIVE subcolonies. Four stars only because the product is a little "juicy" sometimes at first. The new formula should be fine.

I've been battling ants for a year. I used ant bait from Raid, Terro, and Homeplus and none attracted the ants. Advion Ant Bait Gel attracted ants within 20 minutes and now I been vacuuming thousands of dead or dying ants. They are almost gone, out of 4 tube I have only used 2 so far.

The ants cannot let this bait alone. It does take some time though for all of them to disappear.

In the past have used MaxForce FC Ant Bait Stations and MaxForce FC Ant Bait Gel with varied results for minor infestations. Now, 4 years later (with our continued drought) we have Argentine ants behind cabinets, in the walls, ceilings and floors of our 89 year old 2 story, split level home. The ants love the Advion Ant Bait Gel and take it to their mom , the queen. The active chemical is not metabolized by the ants resulting in a second killing by bringing the dead ants back into the colony for food. First the kitchen area was treated with gel on small plastic strips, later I used blue masking tape to easily spot where I placed the bait. I had great success with placing a couple of inches of tape right over their trail and placing the gel on the tape. Also treated a couple of bathrooms, bedroom and walk-in closets. Each room infestation may be from multiple colonies and have different entry points. Treatment may require two weeks or so for a heavy infestation. This stuff really works!

Due to all the rain the fire ants decided my house was a great place to rebuild. They invaded my kittchen. As soon I found their point of entry I applied the ant bait and bam! This works really fast! Very happy with results they were gone in 2 days!

I've been dealing with an acre-wide infestation of either Argentine or pavement ants for years, having used both forms of Terro to no avail. They come into our outbuildings. They come into our attic and into our kitchen and basement. After applying this treatment to the heaviest infested areas, I noticed less ant lines in 24 hours. After applying three tubes, the ants have nearly vanishes. Great product and great company. Shipped ultra fast and was exactly as described.

I've had a lot of success in using Advion Ant Gel. It usually works within several hours to a day, and in one place I lived, it took months, but it does work. The hard part is seeing them swarm the bait. It looks horrific, but most times, there isn't a trace of an ant by the next morning. I recommend this treatment to everyone I know who is bothered by ants.

The area where my parents live used to be an orange orchard. They currently have 2 orange trees as well as most of our neighbors. Because of this, there a ants all over the neighborhood. They start coming in when it warms up and if you're not careful, they are in the house before you know it! I've been using this stuff for the past 3 years. Now I just buy a pack every year and head them off before it becomes an issue. The first time I used it, I was skeptical because nothing really worked and the ants were all over the house. Ants are very persistent, and they go very long distances. Once was a trail of them coming from across the street over the powerlines into the house and it was just awful. We tried everything but they always came back, until I got the gel. It's very effective and just takes a few applications if there's a lot of them. So what we do now is we walk around the house when it warms up and check to see if there's a trail of ants. Place some in the trail and they immediately swarm around the gel and take it. Within a few hours, most of the bait is gone and so are the ants. This has been the most effective product and my parents are much more comfortable. You won't be disappointed!

Seriously, it's the most effective product I have seen. I was frustrated with sugar ants issue for weeks and they were rapidly growing even when I was spraying on them with ant killer chemicals. No luck. And then I found "Advion Ant Bait Gel". It's very easy to use. I applied it on 3 separate spots where Ants were seen. It quickly attracted the ants and looked like the entire ant colony was feeding on it. First day almost 80% ants were gone. I applied one more time on the second day, and the rest were gone. I don't see a single ant since day 3. It's been a month and no ants. Yay.

I have been using this product for about 10 years in my own home and also in my real estate property management business. A professional exterminator gave me a similar product and when I ran out I tried this one and it seems to work just as good as the professional product. The ants love it and I call it "ant crack". They eat it and take it back to the queen and it kills the entire colony. I put a small drop down and the next day it is all gone and no more ants. No one is paying me or am I benefiting in any way from this review. Great product!

I bought Advion last fall after I started getting Odorous Ants in a bathroom in a sub basement. The location being far from outside access. At first the ants swarmed to the location then tapered off for awhile. They then returned at a location a few feet over. A reapplication slowly knocked them out but I kept getting return visitors over the summer. This fall after a particularly rainy period, I had 2 repeat infestations adjacent to an outside wall. This time I placed a dab of Advion on paper towels 3 feet apart. I was able to locate one nest outside and another separate nest within a wall. Placing additional Advion in these 2 areas resulted in a 2 day feeding frenzy which dwindled off over the week. At the 10 day mark the ants were gone. This product seems more effective the closer you can get it to the nest. Locating the nest outside also helped by getting the product close.

Very happy with the product and the price. Had the exterminator here four times in three months to try to get rid of ants and this product did the job that the exterminator couldn't do. It's easy to use and you can immediately see the ants gravitating toward the gel to take it to the nest. The ants were climbing up the foundation and getting under the siding to get into the kitchen and bathroom but once I put the get on the outside they were no longer coming inside. The exterminator was just spraying and using some other gel on the inside.

I know this stuff works because I worked for a pesticide company that uses it. I put out the Advion on little pieces of cardboard (I don't like to squish poison in crevices in my kitchen). I just squeezed about a 2" line and replaced it when the ants had taken it away. Within a week the ants were gone. We saw a few residual ants but they were weak and died on the floor! We are certain we had a nest in the house as it was too early here in Maine for them to be moving around outside. If you do use the cardboard method, just be sure you have no kids or pets around to get into it.

I had luck previously with this gel, but this time around it didn't do the trick. We ended up using another brand of traps and they worked.

It did not work for 2 types of ants (little black and fire) we are having at our house. I used bait at the openings where they were coming in, and they did not want any of it. I made about 10 bait stations, replacing every few days.

I'm only giving it a four star because I still see carpenter ants. I put the gel in the hole's and a crack in the tree where I saw the ants, they came out in a swarm and started eating / nibbling at the gel. The next day, some, not all of the ants were walking like they were drunk, kind of shaking and quivering. I have not seen any ants coming out of the hole or crack where I put the gel, but there are still healthy carpenters ants running around, but not as many as before, so I'm sure that there is another nest somewhere in the tree. Considering the results and daily inspection I'm pretty sure this stuff knocked out at least one of the ant nests.

Worked extremely well on argentine ants. I hate that I can see a trail of ants inside the house but knowing they're all gonna die along with their colony is a good feeling. 100% recommend this product!

I've used this product numerous times in my RV. Was 1st introduced to Advion Ant Bait Gel by a professional exterminating service who used it to rid my RV of the major ant problem I had. Within a week, they were gone. The exterminator said for me not to kill the ants if I saw any. The ants need to take the bait back to the queen so the bate can kill off the whole nest. Now when I get new "visitors" I put a tiny dab in their path and within a week they are gone.

We have started to have a big ant issue. I was told they're “ghost ants”. I bought this and it is helping but even with the bait stations it dries out within a few days. I've noticed less over the past few weeks. I also bought the Termidor SC for outside. I am not sure how it's working. I did try some granular bait as well as the other gel, Max Force. I am not liking the Max Force gel. I never see any ants feeding on that one here. I'll continue to use the Advion and hope I see a bigger difference soon. I'm also in Florida and bugs are just an issue. I'm from Rhode Island and we didn't have this issue. I'm losing my mind!

We had a problem with Concrete Ants in our kitchen, after one application last evening There's dead Ants everywhere. I followed the directions, used a Pea size drop of bait and the Ants were all over it in minutes. As usual Do My Own has come through, with a great product, great price and fast shipping, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST

I hired a few months ago a professional pest control company because of ant problem and I pay over $200 for the service. I took the name of the chemicals used by the persons and after I order this from you I save a lot of money for my company. This product is working very good.

Ants in the bathroom and laundry room were crazy for this sweet, gooey bait. I used about a quarter of a tube of Advion around a windowsill above a shower. Within an hour ants were swarming all over it. The next morning, only a few were left. I used more bait to get the last of them, and they consumed it just as quickly as the first placements. Three days later and the ants are gone! This bait is a great investment.

Every spring I'm invadid by little brown ants escaping rain storms, this year I used this product. It looked as though I was feeding them for the first 3-5 days until they began to diminish and completly disappear after 8-10 days. I'm ant free now.

My house and property was infested with Odorous Ants going back to a previous owner who obviously did nothing about it. You know, leave a cough drop in my coat and the next morning my pocket has a hundred ants in it! Had an exterminator for a couple months and his product worked so well, I got it off the invoice and then cancelled my service. Advion is Odorous ant NAPALM. I can't speak of how it works with other kinds of ants, but it is the real deal. Moth to a flame, bees to honey, Odorous ants to Advion...you get the picture. Wiped out house infestation in about three weeks. For maintenance I reapply about every two months. I'm guessing after a few more months that won't even be necessary.

We've had a recurring yearly ant problem since we moved into this house. Early spring they always show up and stay until mid-summer. We've tried TONS of products that you can buy at the local big discount stores or hardware stores. Nothing worked, the ants always showed up in a different spot of the house. This year we sprayed and baited outside the house as well. No results, the little pests were still hanging around. The Advion Ant Bait Gel WORKS!!!! We finally have success! Our order came very fast (I didn't have it shipped quickly, but it came in just a couple days anyway). We put the gel in little pieces of cut up drinking straws and placed them around the house in places where we we'd seen ants. We also filled in little cracks and crevices in various places inside the house as well. I didn't want to jinx the whole thing, by believing that it had worked - but it's been three weeks since I have seen an ant so I have to believe that they are GONE! The gel took about a day or two to work.

Ants are a constant problem here in the Pa Poconos. Have used advion twice now and it works just fine. The only problem has been educating my wife not to kill the ants but let them take the advion back to their nest so as to eliminate the entire nest. This usually takes a few days. Highly recommend the product.

Our pest control man recommended Advion and it works great. If you put it out where you have ants, they either eat it an die or take it back to kill the rest. Either way, the ants are gone.
