Just curious if I needed an anchor with the Landscape Rock.... if so, how many? Read Full Answer »You are not required to use this type of anchor though if you are using the station in areas where dogs or children or larger non-target animals are located, anchoring the stations will prevent the stations from being moved about and should be done. We are checking with the manufacturer now to see if these anchors will work with this particular station and will let you know shortly. As an alternative you should know most professionals use caulk adhesive and glue the stations to patio blocks. (both the adhesive and patio blocks can be purchased from your local home improvement store) -

The steel Bait Station Anchors are 12 x 1.6 x 0.9 inches and weigh approximately 5 ounces. They are installed by puncturing through a bait station and inserted in the soil to secure the station.
