Q

I need a system for crack and crevice application against roaches.
I need a system that will take a liquid like 1% pyrethrum and turn into a mist so I can chase out roaches from crack and crevice as I did when I was an exterminator. I do NOT want to spray a liquid stream but a controllable mist from a wand. Can this or other product do that??

This system is specifically designed to take liquids and turn them into an aerosol type application.

is this unit works like actisol unit? pyrythrin is oil base!
Can I fill it out with pyruthrin and flush the crevises .

A

Yes this unit is similar to the way an Actisol machine would work and you can certainly use a pyrethrin flushing agent in it for treating crevices to eliminate pests.

What kind of product I can use with the B&G Portable Aerosol System, SC or EC?
Can use products diluted in water?

A

You can use either an SC or EC product in the B&G Portable Aerosol System Delivery Unit Commercial (1640 PAS) and would mix all insecticides according to label directions, which includes mixing with water. It can also be used with ULV fogging solutions for contact kills.

Unfortunately, you need a special air compressor to apply and special product for the tube systems, and we sell neither. Actually though, it is much better to do an outside service treatment to keep bugs out. The thing about the tube system is that for it to kill a bug, the bug has already gotten in your house. 99% of all pest control companies do outside treatments since 99% of all pests problems come from outside. This is also what we recommend. Our most popular general use product is called Talstar P. It is widely used by pest control companies because it is labeled for almost every insect you could have a problem with and you can use it outside the home as well as inside, it is odorless and very safe for use around children and pets. It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water in a one gallon hand pump sprayer. It will last for 60 to 90 days outside in between treatments. It is also labeled for lawn and ornamental use, and can be used on trees, plants, bushes and shrubs for all sorts of ornamental pests including Japanese beetles, mosquitoes, and other leaf eating pests. What's the difference between the B&G Portable Aerosol System PAS Commercial and the standard unit?

A

The B&G Portable Aerosol System PAS Commercial comes with a fan cooled compressor, preventing the unit from overheating. The standard unit does not have a can cooled compressor and may overheat.

After months of use for sanitization and then BP100 application (Approx. 100 hours) my B&G Portable Aerosol System PAS Commercial is now sputtering and providing inconsistent liquid flow. The air flow is consistent but liquid flow is on and off.
Started using only for sanitization and then for BP100 application. We have since used 70% alcohol , and Tengard solution. We saw it as a major investment and have been flushing and cleaning after each use. We have tried switching out the brass tip inner piece of the tip and checked the filter in the back of the handle

Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is a water based insecticide that can be applied to approved application sites listed on the Shockwave product label with the B&G Portable Aerosol System PAS Commercial Only oil based, water based or encapsulated product should be used in the B&G Portable Aerosol System PAS Commercial System per the product manual. The only restriction would be that wettable powders should not be used with the B&G PAS System.
