Bifen Granules are a pet and children safe product when applied correctly because it is broadcast over lawn in small quantities. Please be sure to follow the product label for proper application.

Bifen L/P Granules should not be used around edible vegetation. They have a residual that will last for up to four months but should be applied at least 10-15 ft outside the drip line of the garden.
Bifen LP is the finer sandy granule. Talstar EZ contains the same active ingredient as Bifen LP but is the larger granule that you are looking to use in your lawn spreader.
