    Bifen IT should not stain anything that water would not stain when applied according to the instructions on the product label.

    What can I use if Bifen IT is not working very well for earwigs?
    Bifen has been working well as a perimeter spray but I noticed one bug that it is not stopping are earwigs. They even come up to the second floor. Should I consider using something else? I know residual sprays are not instant and earwigs are not social so not sure if any other can do better. Advice?

    Are there any other perimeter long residual insecticides that are similar in price to Bifen IT?
    Bifen IT seems to be so much more economical than many other insecticides in its class. Are there others that I am missing that might be worth a try?

    Bifen IT is still the most cost effective professional grade general insecticide on the market. Mix at 1 oz. per gallon of water.

    Is it legal to apply Bifen IT in NY?
    A

    Bifen IT is available for licensed professionals to apply in New York State.  We are not able to ship to homeowners but whether you could legally use it would be something you need to ask of the local department that handles pesticide regulations.

    Bifen IT is not labeled for use on cannabis.  It likely would not harm them, as it is known for being gentle on plants, but it would not be safe to apply to anything that would be consumed in any way.

    What amount of Bifen IT do I mix with water to spray on maple tree. I have the Maple tip borer.

    The mix rate for Bifen IT is 1 ounce per gallon of water.  There is some great information on the best time to treat for the Maple Tip Borer with Bifenthrin insecticides in this article by the Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension Office.

    Yard is being aerated and seeded tomorrow morning. Can I use Bifen IT same day to kill mosquitos?

    There is no waiting period to apply Bifen IT after aeration or seeding.
