    How long do we have to wait before we can allow sheep to graze on our lawn again after treatment with Bifen IT?
    We have 6 or more acres of lawn than we regularly graze sheep on and my husband sprayed Bifin I/T on it yesterday.
    A

    Bifen IT is not labeled to be used in pastures or in areas with grazing animals at all.  We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for confirmation on reentry time. To our knowledge, it is recommend to keep grazing animals out of the treated areas for the entire growing season. Control Solutions can be reached at 281-892-2500

    Is it safe to apply Bifen IT on rose bushes?
    A

    We don't recommend spraying Bifen IT on roses, since it isn't labeled specifically for roses. We would recommend you use a product like Bayer Advanced All-In-One Rose and Flower Care that is labeled for use on roses.

    Can I spray my Bifen IT and Nygaurd into inside sockets?
    Have sugar ants in my kitchen. Been using Bifen IT and Nygaurd for years. Was wondering if I could spray the mixture into my sockets? A friend says this is completely safe. I believe they are neating behind one of them. Thank you!

    We do NOT recommend spraying any liquid in electrical outlets as this is a shock hazard. We would recommend applying a dry insecticide dust such as Cimexa with a duster.  The mixture can be applied to cracks and crevices inside and outside the structure and just eliminates the ants that come into contact with the areas-not instant kill. We would recommend that you bait inside the kitchen with the products in this Kit. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article.

    why did my mole activity get worse after an application of Bifen IT?
    I sprayed my front lawn for mole crickets. The moles now have dug tunnels EVERYWHERE. Now what?
    A

    We really haven't had anyone with this particular issue in the past but we do have an idea of what might be happening. Moles eat insects. They have to eat a lot of insects every day and have huge appetites. We think it is possible that the Bifen IT has killed their food source and they are searching all over for more food. Once they realize there is no food to be had they should move on quickly. You can also try trapping or baiting if they are not moving on fast enough for you.  You may also want to look over our mole control guide for more information.

    Bifen IT is safe to apply on lawns for insect control if used according to the instructions on the product label.

    Can I use Bifen IT to treat for crazy ants?
    A

    Bifen IT has not been shown to be very effective at controlling Raspberry Crazy Ants. Termidor SC  used outdoors and Phantom used indoors have been the most effective products to control crazy Raspberry Ants. Ant baits and synthetic pyrethroid insecticides do not seem to do an effective job controlling this ant species. Texas A&M University has done extensive research regarding these ants and you can find detailed articles on their extension website.

    Will Bifen IT work with hover flies?
    A

    Bifen IT can be applied monthly to the exterior areas and entry points monthly. We would also recommend using the Catchmaster Disposable Fly Trap (975-8) to control those pesky Hover Flies. Place it about 15 feet from your front door.

    Will Bifen IT kill bedbugs?

    Bifen IT is not recommended for bedbug control.     Can you mix Bifen IT with Fendona CS?
    What would be the oz per gallon ratio for each one. Thank you.

    Bifen IT and Fendona CS should not be mixed together.  This would not make either product work better or produce better results.  However, it could possibly make treated areas repellent to bugs, lessening the effectiveness of the treatment.  Neither product can do its job of killing insects if the insects are avoiding the treated areas.

    Will Bifen IT work systemically on trees for bores?
    A

    No, Bifen IT is not a product that works systemically. You did not specify the kind of borer you are treating, but a product like Dominion 2L Termiticide Concentrate would be a great option. This product works well for boring insects and it can be used in foliar and systemic applications.

    Is Bifen IT safe to use on jade plant and snake plant?
    A

    Bifen IT? is labeled for use on ornamentals, flowers, turf and trees.  As long as the product is mixed appropriately and applied per labeled instructions it would be fine to use Bifen IT on various types of succulents, jade plant, etc.

    Will Bifen I/T kill wasps?
    They are flying around my hanging baskets. Never had this problem before. I've checked everywhere for nests and don't see any.

    Yes, Bifen IT is labeled to treat for wasps, but it is not an instant knockdown. Bifen IT will kill wasps that it comes in contact with it. Retreat after 21 days if signs of renewed activity exist. You may want to consider our Wasp and Hornet Kit which contains the residual insecticide Cyzmic CS, plus Wasp-X to kill insects very quickly when you locate nests.

    There is not a time restriction on how soon you can reseed after applying Bifen IT. You may apply at same time or in separate applications.

    I am using a fan tip for outdoor applications. Seems like too much product flow for inside

    An adjustable tip on your sprayer would be preferred when applying Bifen IT to interior cracks and crevices.

    I want to use Bifen IT to treat fleas in my house. How should it be applied in the home if I have carpet?
    A

    Bifen IT would not be recommended for fleas inside and cannot be used on carpets.  It is only for cracks and crevices when used inside.  We would recommend our Indoor Flea Kit.
