Read Full Answer »Yes, Bifen It would be a great choice to treat flies. It dries clear and is odorless. You can apply the mixed solution to lawns, trees, shrubs, indoors. It has a long lasting residual. You may want to retreat during the fly season once every 30 days. Otherwise Bifen has a 3 month residual.
You can use between .5 and 1 ounce per gallon of water. Depending on how your hose end sprayer is set up, you would need to select one of those two rates on the dial to properly dilute it. Either rate is acceptable for the treatment of springtails.
