Can the Origin Point Brands Barrier Gate be used in regions where it will be exposed to salt air in the Gulf of Mexico? Is the powder coating on the inside and outside steel parts and the gate has stainless steel hardware otherwise? Should steel posts be used for mounting instead of 6 x 6 wood beams?

Answer:

It would be recommended that you apply an anti-corrosive paint to the gates and with regular field maintenance to deter corrosion with a wire brush would lengthen the life of the product. This gate is made with steel, aluminum alloy and some parts are plastic. We would recommend using a wooden post for mounting.
