It is safe to enter the area treated with Cy-Kick CS, once the area has fully dried. This is typically 2-4 hours later.
Cy-Kick CS is not labeled for control of thrips or for use on houseplants. For the best control of sucking and chewing pests such as thrips, we recommend using a foliar spray such as Natural Guard Neem RTU along with a systemic product applied to the soil such as Hi-Yield Systemic Insect Granules. Be sure to keep infested plants separate from plants that are not infested to help prevent spread.
We have more tips in our article How to Care for Indoor Plants here.
Cy-Kick CS should NOT be applied to any animals or humans.
When treating the exterior perimeter of the foundation of the home, you will want spray 2-3ft up and 2-3ft out from the foundation, around windows, doors, under the eaves of the overhangs and roof. Trim bushes, shrubs, trees, and any foliage atleast 12 inches off the side of the house to prevent Scorpions and other insects from bypassing the ground/foundation where you’ve applied.
Mixing Cy-Kick CS or any other insecticide stronger than the product label or in areas not listed on the product label will not make your treatments more effective or quicker, it can actually do the exact opposite and hinder your results by being too strong or act as a repellent.
Unfortunately, we do not sell Raid products therefore we are not familiar with the active ingredients. However, we don't recommend spraying other pesticides in the same areas treated with synthetic pyrethroids like Cy-Kick CS to avoid one insecticide counteracting the other. You can clean the areas with soap and water and reapply or wait 30 days to reapply either one.
We have never heard of such black mold issues caused by spraying Cy-Kick CS.
We recommend contacting the manufacturer directly so they can offer advice. Here is BASF toll free number: 1-800-526-1072
Cy-Kick CS is a fantastic outdoor and indoor general use insecticide that is safe for children and pets as long as they are kept out of the treated area until the insecticide has dried. Drying time is normally an hour or two.

Cy-Kick CS could be used for a supplemental treatment to control drywood and above ground Subterranean Termites and other wood infesting insects but not for drenching bareground or soil areas.
Depending how close this area is to your home, termites in the lawn do not necessarily need to be controlled or treated. The main concern would be to protect your home, sheds, buildings, etc with the Termite Trench Method using Taurus SC.
Taurus SC when applied by trench method will provide a 10 year barrier protection against Subterranean Termites. Please view our Subterranean Termite Guide for step by step instructions.
We would also recommend inspecting any nearby trees, shrubs, bushes, wood piles or structures for addtional signs of termite activity. If termite activity is found in any of these areas, Dominion 2L can be used as a soil drench around the root zone and also as a foliar spray to the trunks, branches, and termite colony nests if found.
Cy-Kick CS is said to have almost no odor per the SDS Sheet.
Cy-Kick CS is an insecticide only and does not contain an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). Depending on what and where you are treating Proflex or OneGuard are options that contain both.
Cy-Kick CS and the Demand CS are both great products for spider control. However, neither list Brown Recluse specifically on their product label.
Transport Mikron is an insecticide you may use which is labeled specifically for Brown Recluse Spiders. Please view the full product label for more information.
Cy-Kick CS is labeled for roaches and mosquitoes as well as many other insects for both indoor and outdoor applications. To eliminate an active roach infestation, you will need to use a roach bait gel and insect growth regulator along with the residual insecticide. We include all 3 recommended products in our Roach Control Kits. Proper cleaning and santitation practices along with repeat treatments are required every 14 days to eliminate roaches. View our Roach Treatment Guide for more information on a successful treatment.
For Mosquitoes, CyKick CS can be used for monthly foliar spray applications to bushes, trees, shrubs and shaded/cool areas of the yard and sides of the home. For additional treatment options, we would recommend adding an insect growth regulator like NyGuard IGR to the tank mix. View our Mosquito Treatment Guide for more information.

No, Cy-Kick CS would not be tank mixed with Bifen IT.
Bifen IT is a synthetic pyrethroid and Cy-Kick CS already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.
