Is Demand Duo Insecticide pet safe?
Is it pet safe? How long do I need to wait after it dry to let the pet out in the yard?

Demand Duo Insecticide is safe for animals if applied according to the instructions on the product label. Animals need to be kept out of the area while the product is being applied. They can return once the product has completely dried, typically after about 4-6 hours outside.

Is Demand Duo Insecticide ok to come in contact with once it dries?
If I spray my base boards and it dries and my kids touch it , is that ok?

Demand Duo should be applied and dried prior to allowing children and pets back in the treated areas. Once dry, it is safe if used as directed.

Will this produce treat yellow jackets?

A

Demand Duo Insecticide is a great choice for yellow jacket control. We actually include this product in our Wasp & Hornet Control Kit (along with PT Wasp Freeze II Aerosol), and our in our Carpenter Bee Control Kit because it is so effective in treating similar types of insect pests.

Demand Duo Insecticide has a residual up to 90 days to kill those insects that contact a treated area. Per the product label for Carpet Beetles: Apply as a spot or crack-and-crevice treatment to cupboards, shelving, and storage areas. Remove all utensils, uncovered foodstuffs (or any having original package opened), and shelf paper before making application. Allow treated surfaces to dry and cover shelves with clean paper before replacing any utensils, foodstuff, or other items. Any foodstuff accidentally contaminated with treatment solution should be destroyed. Please also review our Carpet Beetle guide for effective elimination.

Unfortunately Demand Duo Insecticide only comes in one size. Tandem Insecticide has the same actives & percentages if you wanted something bigger

Seeing German Roaches in my home that are coming from new neighbors. What can I use along with Demon Max to repel them from my apartment?
I don't want to put down bait because I'm terrified of bugs, I want to spray a barrier insecticide to keep them from coming to my apartment.

If you are seeing active German Roaches in your apartment, spraying an insecticide alone will not eliminate them or provide a barrier to keep them out. German Roach populations grow quickly and in large numbers therefore it is recommended to use a combination of products to treat. It is best to use a non repellent residual insecticide that will transfer by contact, roach bait gel that will transfer as roaches share the bait with the colony and insect growth regulator that will help stop the growth cylce of roaches. Repeat treatments will need to be done every 14 days and can take multiple treatments depending on the size of the roach population. Respray and replace bait placements every 14 days along with proper sanitation and cleaning practices. A common myth is that using roach bait will attract more roaches, this is not the case. Majority of the roach population is hiding behind wall voids, cabinets, and other inaccessible areas. The roaches you are seeing are only a fraction of the population.
We would recommend one of our Roach Control Kits for a complete treatment program to get you started. The kits are set up for a bait rotation program as if after 90 days you are still seeing roach activity, you will want to rotate to a roach bait with different food attractant to prevent any resistance. Demand Duo Insecticide is pet safe if used as directed, however birds can be super sensitive to chemicals and should be completely out of treatment areas for several hours. We also recommend reaching out to your vet for specifics around exotic birds.
