Am I able to spray Demon Max inside?
I work in a fresh fruit producing plant and need to be able to spray inside sometimes. Normally I use Essentria Ic3 but am finding it hard to come by. Will this product work like Essentria Ic3?

Will Demon Max kill pine bark beetles???
I have lost several very large pine trees on my two acres of property. When I see the saw dust around the base of the tree it's too late and the tree is already dead. I don't want to loose my trees as they provide an excellent wind break.

Yes, Demon Max is labeled for Borers and Bark Beetles: To prevent infestation of trees and woody ornamentals, spray the bark, thoroughly, but not to the point of run-off using a 0.1% Demon Max emulsion. The recommended mix rate of 0.1% Solution is 1/2 fl oz (1 Tbsp) per 1 gal water.

How long do I wait after spraying Demon Max in my kitchen to put away my items?
I sprayed the inside of my cabinets and drawers in my kitchen. How long before I can line the cabs and drawers and put away my cleaned dishes/pots n pans, silverware, etc? Prior to spraying I vacuumed and cleaned with Lysol antibacterial spray since I am not able to clean post spray.

Its hard to say which one is better with out knowing exactly where and what you are treating for. Both are going to offer a good kill and a long lasting residual though initially Demon Max may have a faster kill because it is oil based. On the other hand because Demon Max is oil based it could stain old paint/siding and it does have an odor. Bifen IT is known to be super gentle on most plants (do not use on edible vegetation). Both products can be used indoors and outdoors and both products are safe to use in houses with children and pets.

Is Demon Max safe for people and pets after it dries? What if it gets wet?

Demon Max is safe for pets and humans once dry. As long as it has had at least 6 hours of dry time before rain or irrigation it wont be of any concern for pets if they go through an area that was sprayed that becomes wet.

Will Demon Max work to rid my yard of chiggers?
I have a serious chigger problem in my yard. I tried some spray from a local box store but the problem has only gotten worse. Can I use this product with a hose attachment or is it best used in a pump sprayer? Do you recommend this for chiggers? I'm at the point where I'm about to burn my yard to the bare earth! Unfortunately the dogs and my girlfriend wouldn't approve. Any help is appreciated!

Yes, Demon Max is labeled to control chiggers. You can use either a hose end or a hand pump sprayer to apply. You will need to use 1/2 oz. of Demon Max per gallon of water for chiggers.

I sprayed Demon Max on my carpets,baseboards, etc for dog tick infestation-2wks apart. Why do I still see them
I sprayed every inch of the baseboards to every corner to every crack - 1-2 ft above and down. 1oz to 1 gallon. I sprayed my carpet and everything - why am I still finding brown ticks even though I used this Demon Max?? Does this stuff kill ticks or what?

Demon Max is not to be applied on surfaces that come in contact with the skin or broadcast to the open carpeted areas. It is labeled to kill ticks but for indoor use you are very limited in where you can apply it, as a crack and crevice or spot application to areas where these pests hide, such as baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics and eaves, behind and under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, and stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas. How long it takes the ticks to die after they come into contact with a treated area will depend on a number of factors. It will depend on the maturity of the tick as well as how long they stayed on the treated area, how long it has been since the area was treated and the concentration that was used to treat the area. Demon Max is a great product for tick control - and you used the correct dosage. Typically it can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a day or so for them to die. It can take several weeks for you to stop seeing ticks indoors because the ticks like to stay hidden which also means they could be staying out of treated areas and eggs may hatch out prolonging the infestation. We recommend doing follow up treatments every two weeks at the highest usage rate of 1 oz of product per gallon of water until you do not see any ticks. We recommend using an IGR such as Archer IGR in combination with the insecticide that you choose. IGRs (insect growth regulators) will interrupt the growth cycle of juvenile ticks which will stop them from being able to mate and lay eggs

Demon Max is very good with treating for wasps and other insects. You will use 1 fl oz per gallon of water. Be sure to spray in the areas that they will come in contact with the insecticide. This can be used every 30 days as needed.

You would not need to mix insecticids as these all have similar active ingredients, and using too much may cause pests to avoid the area rather than coming into contact with the application. An advantage to using either Demand CS or Temprid SC is that these are both water-based, rather than oil-based insecticides. They will have much less odor and can be used safely indoors as crack and crevice and/or spot treatments. Please see our General Pest Prevention Guide for more information.
