Per the Demon Max product label, you would mix 1/2 oz to 1 oz per gallon of water. For indoors Apply as a crack-and-crevice or spot application to areas where these pests hide, such as baseboards, corners,storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics and eaves, behind and under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, and stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas. We also recommend using an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol IGR and a roach bait gel such as the Advion Roach bait gel for faster and more complete control. We also offer a Roach Bait Kit, that contains all of the components you need for a complete roach control program.

I have a 20 gal tank. How many oz of Demon should I add to treat my yard??
I have a 1 acre yard. I'm having a grasshopper problem this year. Nothing seems to work for more than a week. I was hoping Demon would last a little bit longer in the yard.

Demon will last up to 30 days on outside surfaces depending on the rain and sun exposure but is not actually labeled for grasshoppers.    Talstar P would be a good choice for grasshopper control and will last up to 30 days as well. You should start applications before the grasshoppers have a chance to hatch for best control. You should thoroughly spray your lawn and water in the application with about a .25 in of water to help the product get past the thatch layer and into the soil where grass hoppers actually develop. If you already have grasshoppers you can use Talstar P at the highest usage rate of 1 oz of product per 1 gallon of water for the quickest knockdown. Use sufficient amounts of water to help the product get to the soil layers.

The active ingredient in Demox Max is Cypermethrin. Cypermethrin is in the synthetic pyrethroid class of insecticides. It is a man-made active ingredient that attacks the central nervous system of insects that come in contact with or ingest it.

Demon Max can only be used for crack and crevice and spot treatments; in, on, and around structures and buildings; on lawns, turf, vegetation, and soil; surrounding and under building foundations. If you are trying to treat for your fly and drain problem please refer to and use the Drain Fly Kit. The Drain Fly Kit with Invade Bio Drain Gel will treat up to two infested drains and includes CB-80 Aerosol to control nuisance flies during the treatment process, plus 12 Catchmaster 100i Insect Monitors (Pack of 4 boards that split) to monitor infested drains. CB-80 Aerosol will shoot out in quick misting spurts that will allow you to spot treat around sinks and drains and in open areas.

Is it safe to be inside a home being treated with Demon Max?

When making an application of Demon Max, everyone except the applicator should be out of the area where it is being applied. Once the application is done the treated rooms need to be left vacant until the product has time to dry.

How effective is Demon Max on controlling Wood Ticks and also Deer Ticks
We have a acreage with water on three sides. I do keep the lawn to 3 inches, all leaves and sticks are always picked up at current time we have no pets. What is the mixture rate for killing Wood Ticks, does it also kill Deer Ticks. How long under normal conditions would a application for ticks last? How soon for a re-application? The Demon Max label (page 7) states that liquid may be sprayed directly into gallery entrance holes mixing at 1/2 fl oz per gallon of water. It is recommended to spray around the holes so when the Carpenter Bees land on the surface, they will pick up the active ingredient. Spraying the whole house would be unecessary and better to focus on areas where holes are already present. Following treatment, the entrance holes may be left open 24 hours to be certain that returning adult bees are killed. When there is no activity, the hole may be closed with wood putty.

Ground bees, also known as digger bees, can be very difficult to control no matter what product you use and they most likely will come back to your property year after year unless you do your part to alter your property to make it unfavorable to the bees. Ground bees prefer dry soils with thin grasses so irrigating the area frequently and correcting any issue that causes your grass to be thin will help deter the bees from nesting. In areas where you do not have grass, a layer of mulch will help deter the bees from nesting. Ground bees are solitary bees and are not very aggressive and are known to be a beneficial insect which is why you will not find any products specifically labeled for this type of bee. Talstar P can help provide some level of control but it will not get rid of all of the ground bees on your property. You should use Talstar P at a 1 oz of product to 1 gallon of water for a 1,000 sq ft area ratio. This will give you the fastest knockdown and the longest lasting residual. Talstar P does not offer an instant knockdown but will kill insects that come into contact with treated areas over a short period of time.

Demon Max contains the active ingredient cypermethrin as well as other inert ingredients that are privvy to the manufacturer. We do not recommend applying any products around animals that are ill. You should check with your vet first.

The ants keep coming, because Demon Max will only kill the ants coming in contact with the treated area. It will not stop the colony. Depending on what type of ant they are you could use our Complete ant kit.

Is Demon Max safe for poultry? Is it safe for them even after it dries? How long does it take to dry?
We got about 25 chickens, 10 guineas and 8 turkeys that are free range.

Demon Max CANNOT be used in poultry houses. Depending on what you are treating for you, can use Bifen IT, as it is listed on the product label to be used in poultry houses. It can take up to 2 hours to dry. Do not apply where they may graze.

No, Demon Max does not stop working once it has dried. This is a residual product, which means it will continue to kill insects after your application has dried. It will provide approximately a 30 days residual outdoors, and a 90 days residual indoors.

I was thinking of trenching my whole barn on the inside and flooding the trench with Demon Max. Will this take care of my termite problem? Also, what mixture ratio do you recommend for this? They are destroying anything I leave on the ground.

Demon Max would only kill termites that contact the treated soil, but is not labeled or designed to be used to trench the entire ground area of a barn or prevent termites from infesting items placed on the ground. The best product for trenching is the Taurus SC, this would be done along the outside wall of the barn and along the inside wall to protect the barn itself. Taurus SC is a non repellent insecticide that will help to eliminate the colonies below ground if you are dealing with subterranean termites. You would also want to treat the beams and rafters, and other unpainted/unstained wood of the stalls/tackrooms, etc. with something like Boracare if treating/preventing drywood termites. You can spray or paint the mixture on. There is not much that you can do to prevent them attacking items left on the ground other than avoiding leaving them there. The main concern with termites is generally protecting the bigger investment, the barn itself. We have a step-by-step guide that will walk you through how to do your own termite trenching treatment.
