Is Demon Max safe to use in a house with kids and pets?
I have 2 kids and one dog and was wondering if this product would be safe to use indoors/outdoors with them in mind?

A

Yes, Demon Max is safe to use indoors and outdoors. Please make sure to keep all children and pets out of the treated area until the treated area has completely dried, then it safe for them to re enter.

Which is better, Talstar P or Demon Max?
I am trying to control Ants, Mosquitoes, Wasps, Bees, Flea and Ticks. I used Talstar last year and I am just curious on which is better.

A

Both are going to offer a good kill and a long lasting residual though initially Demon Max may have a faster kill because it is oil based. On the other hand because Demon Max is oil based it could stain old paint/siding and it does have an odor.

What is the mixing ratio per gallon for demon max for indoor spray?

When using Demon Max the dilution rate is normally dependent on the pest you are treating for whether it be indoors or outdoors. For most pests you will dilute Demon Max at the rate of 1/2 ounce per gallon of water, however you can view other dilution rates on the Product Label.

Since Demon Max stains, what color is it?

A

The product is a very light tan. It is the oil itself in the product that will stain so in most cases it leaves an oily residue behind which can stain old paint or old siding.

I have been using Demon around my yard and home the past 2 years, but I am wondering which would be more effective for overall bug control. I would like to be sure that I am blocking out termites at the same time too.

Both products contain the same active ingredient, but the Demon Max is at a higher concentration. Also, the Demon Max is a liquid and the normal Demon is a powder. The powder can leave a white residue where the liquid will not as much. For treating yards, the Demon Max liquid would be a better way to go and will last a little longer in the sun. Both are great products, but if we had to choose, we would say the Demon Max is the better of the two.

Reapply every 1-3 months as pest pressure builds back up. We also recommend using an insect growth regulator such as Gentrol IGR and a roach bait gel such as the Advion Roach bait gel for faster and more complete control. Is Demon Max safe to be applied around dogs?
I'm having issues with fleas in my yard I live in Sarasota, FL. Most of my yard has a lot of sand mixed in with my grass. I have 2 Jack Russells and I need to know what I need to apply and how to apply this with having my dogs around. Do I need to spray early in the morning and let it dry completely first before I let my dogs out into my back yard? Should I also do my front yard too since my backyard is the only place it is all fenced off? Please help!

You will want to mow the lawn 1-2 days prior to treatment and the second application should be applied 2 weeks later. You can apply Demon Max with any pressurized pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. If the dogs have been on the front lawn then you should treat there in addition to your backyard.

product that lasts outside between applications
Scorpions, spiders, cockroaches, occasional stinkbugs I would like a product that lasts as long as possible. I may need 2 different products. Live in southeastern Arizona where Sun and heat are factors during summer. We also have missions for a couple months, so I may need a different product during that time. Not worried about staining or white powder showing after application. Have 3 pet birds. Would be totally willing to spray one product that is better at killing, waiting for it to dry, then perhaps spraying another product that withstands weather and requires less frequent treatment. Or mixing 2 products if that would help. Also willing to spray one product outside and different one indoors if that would help at all. In addition, I want to mix in an igr for the roaches.

Demon Max lasts approximately 30 days outdoors. We would recommend using Suspend Polyzone if you are wanting a longer residual. It also features a proprietary polymer layer that protects the active ingredient from weather, irrigation and mechanical abrasion. The residuals outdoors and indoors is about 90 days. This can be used around the perimeter of your home and does dry clear. We would recommend not spraying this while your birds are in the area. They can return once the product dries. A good IGR (insect growth regulator) is Gentrol IGR. It is labeled to work for up to 4 months for roaches. This can be mixed with insecticides as well in the same sprayer.

I have an older cedar sided home that attracts Carpenter Bee's by the hundreds each spring. So far I haven't found a product that will keep them away.

Try to limit moisture areas or standing water on the property as much as possible, spray not just the top but also the underneath side of leave of bushes, trees and other dense foliage on the property where mosquitoes harbor and breed, and consider mixing in an IGR like Nyguard IGR to help stop the reproductive cycle.

I sprayed a ground nest of yellow jackets last night with the product. Later that night it rained.

Demon Max will last for 30 days to exterior areas if applied and dried prior to a rainfall. It should be reapplied if it rained heavily or prior to the product drying.
