Demon WP is only labeled to be used as a crack and crevice treatment indoors and as a perimeter spray outdoors. Spraying rodents as you mentioned with Demon WP is off label, therefore we cannot advise the product being used in such a way. We have many products that work great for rodent control such as glue boards, snap traps, rodenticides and bait stations. As long as you read and follow the Demon WP product label there should be no health or safety issues for a pregnant woman or anyone else. Only people that are applying the products should be present at the time of the treatment, and all other adults, children and pets should be out of the room. Everyone can re-enter the treated room as soon as the area is dry and the room has been vented, which usually takes about an hour.

What is the best way to prevent paper wasps from nesting under our deck?
We had a huge paper wasp infestation underneath the crevices of our deck last summer/fall. We endured it until the first hard frost when they all died, and then we went in and scraped out all the little nests they made throughout the summer. Wanting to do a preventative spray to prevent nests this coming summer.

Demon WP would be a good option for you. This is a wettable powder that you mix with water and apply using a hand pump sprayer. It works great for flying insects like wasps. You can spray the underside of the deck with the mixed solution. This will not repel the wasps, but when they land on the surface they should pick up the product and die within a few hours. Is Demon WP Insecticide safe the use on flooring?
I have laminate flooring.

Demon WP Insecticide is a wettable powder that when mixed is sprayed to cracks and crevices inside. When it dries, it dries as a powder leaving a white film and should not be applied over laminate floors.

I think it's obvious you can't use Demon WP on your body, but would it kill lice on furniture and things like that?

Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled for lice or to be applied for furniture. Steri-Fab Insecticide would be a better option. It can be applied to couches, chairs and other upholstered furniture.

Demon WP should be mixed and applied using a pump sprayer or a backpack sprayer. It likely would clog a plastic spray bottle.

You should wait at least 24 hours before wetting down the patio. If you scrub the patio you will remove the Demon WP residual and will only have limited results.

Demon WP like any other product we sell is very safe as long as you follow the application instructions. When you mix Demon or any other product on our site with water, the solution is only strong enough to kill small insects. It would be advised to not apply where your daughter will come in contact with it easily. First off, 99% of all bugs come from outside so you should apply most of your product around the outside perimeter of the house where you do not have to worry about your daughter coming close to it. Inside, you should apply the product in cracks and crevices, underneath and behind appliances, window sills, where pipes go into the walls underneath sinks and behind toilets, etc....places that are hard for your daughter to get to.

What should I use to treat crazy ants out in the yard?
When I sprayed the Demon WP on the outside, I sprayed about 5 feet from the house and in that area I only see a few ants now. The ants are all in my yard so bad that when you walk in the yard they just run all over your feet so we can't even be in the yard because they drive you crazy. Thank goodness they don't bite. We live on 2-1/2 acres, should I use the Demon WP or the Termidor SC and spray the whole yard? Also how often can I spray to get this under control?

Demon WP can be used to treat the crazy ant infestation in the yard. You should try to treat the colony or nesting site directly. Crazy Ant mounds are not readily visible above ground. Possible nesting sites for Crazy Ants include: soil beneath landscape timbers, logs, mulch firewood and other debris. Crazy Ants may also nest inside rotting wood and tree holes. Demon WP is not specifically labeled for spider mites but it is labeled for mites in general and may work for spider mites. Most folks choose a product such as Talstar P as it is labeled for spider mites and is known to be gentle on plants.

These products should not be mixed together. There is no valid reason to mix Demon WP/Cyper WP and Talstar P/Bifen IT together. Talstar P/Bifen IT is a synthetic pyrethroid and Demom WP/Cyper WP already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.

Demon WP is not recommended for bird/rodent mites because it is not labeled for mites and also because it can not be broadcast sprayed. Below you will find out best recommendations for bird/rodent mites control: It is important to be absolutely sure you are actually dealing with bird mites. Have the suspected bird mite identified by a reputable source, such as your local cooperative extension office or a reputable pest control operator. Treatments will vary for different pests. Treatment for say bedbugs is much different than the treatment for bird mites. If you do indeed have bird mites, you must first find the source of the infestation, usually a bird nest or a dead bird on or in the home. Removal of the infested nest or bird and a thorough cleanup is necessary. For treatment in the home, we recommend you frequently vacuum all carpet and upholstery and dispose of the bag or vacuum contents in a sealed bag outdoors. Spray Sterifab on couches, chairs and other upholstered furniture where you may spend time resting. Use MotherEarth Dust in all cracks and crevices around the perimeter of the room. Apply a thin coat of MotherEarth dust to rugs and carpets. Rake (not sweep) nap back and forth, causing dust to enter rug or carpet. Let product sit overnight. Repeat application as necessary and vacuum every 3 - 4 days for effective control. MotherEarth dust does not have a fast knockdown, it can take several days for insects to die after they contact the dust. Onslaught can be used for a faster knockdown. Thoroughly apply as a fine particle broadcast spray using a hand pump sprayer to infested rugs and carpets and other cracks and crevices around the perimeter of each room. Put all clothes through the dryer on high heat to help kill mites and their eggs.We have had many customers use the above recommendations with great success. Most customers report that it can take several months to get rid of all of the mites. Finding and removing the source of the infestation is very important and is the key to getting rid of the mites for good.
