D-FENSE DUST is a ready-to-use insecticide dust which exhibits effective knockdown and residual control against the pests listed when used according to label directions.
D-FENSE DUST can be used for residual pest control in and on buildings and structures and their immediate surroundings.
D-FENSE DUST is intended for applications with hand or power duster, with a paint brush or equivalent means, to hiding and runway areas and other places where insects are found. In living areas, make applications in such a manner as to avoid depositions on exposed surfaces or introducing material into the air.

Didn't Do The Job
By Anonymous on 06/30/2013
I purchased D-Fense Dust mainly for scorpions. To test it's effect, I caught a scorpion, placed it in a container & sprinkled Dust on it. 24 hours later, the scorpion was alive and well. I don't know how well it works on other pests, but it has little or no effect on scorpion.

Bed bugs be gone
By Anonymous on 07/15/2013
I have never slept so well. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I have been battling bedbugs for almost a yr now..and finally after so much cleaning and throwing away, and cleaning some more I gained some peace of mind. I'll still use it as directed, but very happy I purchased it.

Ground hornets
By Mark on 09/13/2013
Had to remove wooden walkway to locate nest entrance. Got stung once but did locate entryway. Previous to this application of dust through walkway cracks proved unsuccessful. When applied directly into hive, D-fense worked well. However, this is not "fast acting". Took 3-4 days before nest went dormant. Did get the job done...

Good Product
By Edward on 02/16/2018
This dust is effective on American Cockroaches, ants, and other insects on the target label. Treat floor drains for American Roaches and weep hole for the ants. Lasts a long time and will not wash away. Wouldn't recommend for German Cockroaches in restaurants because it is a repellent. Need Borid or Boractin for those.

D-Fense Deltamethrin Dust should not be mixed with or applied directly to water in any way. It is waterproof if exposed to water after application. When used as directed on the product label as a dust it can last up to 8 months in undisturbed areas.

I have a problem with honeybees in the wall of my house.
You can locate local bee keepers by contacting your local cooperative extension office. Many bee farmers will come remove honey bees free of charge because of the recent decline in the honey bee population. If this is not an option for you, you can use a hand duster to apply a dust product such as D-Fense Dust into and around the area where the bees seem to be gaining access to your home. Over a period of a couple of days to a week (timeline will depend on how many bees are contacting the treated area) this will kill off the colony that has taken up residence in your home. Any insecticide applications should be done very early in the morning or very late in the evening when the bees are less active. After the bees have been eliminated it is important to remove the bee hive from the void where the bees were nesting. Failure to remove the hive can lead to mold issues and secondary infestation from hive beetles and other insects. If the bee hive is in an area that is not easily accessible you may want to consider hiring a professional pest control operator.
