Dithiopyr 2L is a pre-emergent herbicide with limited post-emergent control of crabgrass, dandelions, and other grasses and broadleaf weeds in your lawn. Great for use on commercial sod farms, industrial sites, golf courses, ornamentals, and non-cropland. Safe for use on most common turfgrasses, just add 3/4 of the required water to your sprayer, mix the desired amount of Quali-Pro's Dithiopyr 2L with the water, add the rest of the required water, then spray the target area. The product will keep your property free of crabgrass and other unsightly weeds, with only a few applications every year, depending on the state of your lawn.

Timing of Applications
For crabgrass control in the spring, summer, or fall, apply this product as a single application, a split application, or a sequential application.
Early Summer or Spring Application: Apply Quali-Pro Dithiopyr 2L at the listed rate as noted in one of the three application plans in the table below. Rates used are dependent on 1) the user's location, 2) the mowing height of the turfgrass, and 3) whether, at the time of application, the use is considered to be preemergence or early postemergence. The total rate applied will affect the length of residual weed control provided by this product. Weather, weed pressure, turfgrass competitiveness, and the user's location within a region are also variables in length of control.
Late Summer or Fall Application:Apply Quali-Pro Dithiopyr 2L in the late summer or early fall (late August through November) at the Plan C use rates listed in the table below. Season-long weed control can be attained by a fall application followed by an appropriately timed spring application. Do not exceed the maximum use rate per year. For Poa annua control see Section titled "Poa annua (Annual Bluegrass) Control" below Use Rate table*.

I'm a homeowner with about 1/2 to 2/3 acre... I'm estimating that I will get about 2 years per gallon, but I'm considering buying 4 gallons at the bulk price to save money in the long run.
Dithiopyr 2L has a shelf life of 3-5 years if kept at room temperature. Do not store in a garage where the product will be susceptible to freezing or high temps.
