The propane insect fogger is really a small fogger and does not have a very long range.  It is meant for up close treatment, meaning you will only be able to fog lower lying bushes, shrubs and trees.  However, mosquitoes usually stay close to the ground on lower foliage so this should not be a problem.  You do have to cover the entire area though....the fog will not travel very far typically with wind and other factors that can direct it away from the surfaces you would like to cover.

We do not carry the small propane tanks that are required for use with the Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger but most hardware stores and big box stores do carry them and they are pretty readily available. You can check with your local stores before purchase to make sure they carry the 14.1 oz tall style propane cylinders that are required (3 inches in diameter x 10.5 inches long). Do NOT use the shorter 16 oz lantern style cylinders as they are known to cause flare ups or uncontrolled burn. Fog RX Propane Insect Fogger can safely be used around pets (with products that are labeled for use in the fogger). Pets should be out of the area while you are using the fogger and they can safel return to the treated areas within an hour or two.
