The Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV fogger is about the same loudness as a vacuum cleaner. It can shoot about 10 to 15 feet, but it comes out as a fog and very small particles, 5 - 10 microns small, so it more or less gets airborne and fills the room rather than shoot out like a mist with larger droplets. It can be used for mold remediation depending on the product you used, but you would definitely need adequate protection and a good respirator. We do sell a professional safety kit which has everything you need.

Is there a fogger that you can use while people are around?

A

No. Any pesticide that can be fogged, including natural pesticides, have product labels that demand that the space being fogged be cleared of people and pets during the fogging process and for about 2 hours after the process.

Can I use this fogger in a crawlspace by running it unattended for a period of time?
My crawl space is about 28x36x4 so I realize I may need to move it to each corner. I trying to avoid having to spray each joist individually.

Yes you can use the fogger in the crawlspace and just move it around as needed.

Can the fogmaster 7401 be used to kill mosquitoes in back yard? Want to place fogger on deck railing.
Please let me know if a different type of fogger would be better to use to rid back yard of moquitos. We would also like to spray our grass to kill mosquitos and other insects, any suggestions?

It is a liquid concentrate that you mix with water and apply using any hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. The key is to apply it to all shrubs, trees, and other foliage around the house or patio you are trying to provide relief at. It should be directed not only on top of the leaves and plants, but on the underside of the leaves as well which is where the mosquitoes hang out. It should be applied every 30 days for optimum control.

Does the Fogmaster use heat to create the fog? Or does it atomize like the fine mist setting on a pump sprayer?

The Fogmaster ULV does not use heat to create a fog. ULV stands for ultra low volume. The machines creates an extremely fine particle that hangs in the air like a fog. You would be able to create the same ultra low volume application with a pump sprayer.

The manufacturer states that the Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV Fogger 7401 cannot be used with this type of chemical as it would degrade the brass inside the unit.

Can Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV Fogger 7401 unit be used as a stationary unit to fill a greenhouse?
I want to fog a few 10x10 ft greenhouses. I would rather not be in the room while this happens. I was wondering if I can set this unit on the ground with a timer, point it upwards and just let it fill the room. I have some very large tomato plants that are very difficult to fully cover with a hand held sprayer and want to be sure they get full coverage through a thick canopy.

This Fogmaster Micro Jet ULV Fogger 7401 can be set on the ground and pointed upwards as you suggested. That is not a problem. It does not come with a timer though, but you could hook the power cord up to one.
