Overview

What Are Fungus Gnats?

Fungus gnats are tiny, smoky-winged insects with black to grayish bodies, long, thin legs, and even thinner antennae. Adult fungus gnats measure from 1/16 to 1/8 an inch long. Since there are other varieties of gnats that are similar, it's best to positively identify fungus gnats as your problem pest before deciding on a treatment method.
