WEEDY GRASSES CONTROLLED
This product kills most annual and hard-to-kill perennial grasses up to 1 foot high, including the following examples, in one or two applications. Younger, actively growing seedling weeds are more easily killed than older, mature, well-established grassy weeds that may require a repeat application for control. Adding oil concentrate may help control grassy weeds.
Barnyardgrass, Bermudagrass, Broadleaf Signalgrass, Crabgrass (Large & Smooth), Fall Panicum, Foxtail (Giant, Green & Yellow), Goosegrass, Johnsongrass (Seedling & Rhizome), Junglerice, Lovegrass, Orchardgrass (Seedling), Quackgrass, Tall Fescue Seedling, Texas Panicum, Shattercane/Wildcane, Wild Proso Millet, Wirestem Muhly, Witchgrass, Wooly Cupgrass
APPLICATION TIMING
Apply when grassy weeds are actively growing, not exceeding the minimum of days from application to harvest when used on vegetables and fruits. Warm sunny weather will accelerate systemic movement from leaves and stems down to the roots to give complete kill. DO NOT mow or cut off tops of weeds before spraying. DO NOT apply if rainfall is expected within one hour following application. Growth of treated grass stops soon after application. Grass turns yellow and dies within one to three weeks depending on the grass species, stage of growth and weather conditions. Cool weather, drought, and heat stress slow activity.

A good deal
By Nancy on 03/17/2015
I used this product once last summer and it stopped my Bermuda grass from growing within my Centipede. The runners appear green when runner stalks were broken even though they have not grown any...so I am going to use this again in a few weeks to prevent any spring growth. So far, it is the only thing I have found to eliminate the Bermuda.

Killing bermuda in centipede
By Ultracon on 05/23/2016
This stuff really works when used with the surfectant! After one application, the bermuda has stopped growing and is dying. The centipede is untouched! A second application will be going on in a week or so. This is really, really, good stuff and worth the $$!!!!! Be sure to get the surfectant as well to mix them together. A solution to my problem after years of digging and pulling!

Great service!
By Bruce on 09/09/2015
Ordered Hi-Yield grass killer on Monday and received it on Thursday. I had a number of Crab Grass patches in our lawn and used it as a spot spray on those patches. Follow the label and add a spreader sticker oil. It has been several days and the Crab Grass appears to be killed and I am satisfied with the product.

Hi-Yield Grass Killer Post-Emergent Herbicide is not specifically labeled to treat Dallisgrass. We suggest reading our guide here for info on how to treat and prevent it.
I've converted my lawn to field sedge, Carex praegracilis, and need to control bermudagrass, crabgrass, and other invasive grasses without harming or killing the native sedge.

While the Hi Yield Grass Killer Post Emergent Herbicide is not specifically labeled for use in clover deer food plot areas to eliminate grasses, it is not designed to control anything other than grasses or grassy weeds and would not impact broadleaf weeds such as clover.
Arrest Max Herbicide would be the preferred treatment in food plots as it is designed to help food plots thrive and remain lush and healthy while targeting unwanted weeds and grasses such as bermudagrass, barnyardgrass, broadleaf signalgrass, brome, crabgrass, fescue, foxtail, goosegrass, itchgrass, Johnsongrass, lovegrass, ryegrass, orchardgrass, and more.

I'll use it to kill crabgrass in centipede grass.

Oil or sometimes called crop oil is not the same as a good nonionic surfactant.
While Non Ionic Surfactants, Crop Oil Concentrates and Methylated Seed Oil Surfactants are all categorized as “wetting agents” or “adjuvants” and are similar in that they help herbicides stick and penetrate into the weeds cuticle surfaces providing better coverage. While they are similar, the manufacturer will advise on the product label IF a “wetting agent” is recommended and which type to mix with the herbicide. Always refer to the product label for additional information and any addtional tank mix products that can be used.
Hi-Yield Grass Killer Post-Emergent Herbicide suggest using a crop oil concentrate for grassy weed control.
Refer to Rate Chart on page 7 of the product label for more information.
