When used according to the product label, Invader Aerosol is only being applied to the cracks and crevices around the room, not out in the open on the floor. By applying the product as specified on the product label you limit the contact your children and pets can have with it. Once the Invader Aerosol is dry it is safe for the kids and pets to return to the treated rooms.

Unfortunately, Propoxur has been discontinued due to EPA regulations and only the product left on the shelves now is allowed to be sold. After the existing stock is gone, propoxur will no longer be manufactured.

Is Invader effective in killing and preventing stink bugs?
I live in Virginia, in a rural area and am fighting a war against stink bugs. Will this product be effective in killing the ones that are already in my home and preventing more from coming in?

Invader is a great product for stink bugs. Unfortunately if you are dealing with them in your house right now you will only see limited results. Stink bugs move into structures to overwinter. They usually squeeze into wall voids, false ceilings, attics and other areas that are inaccessible to people and insecticides. As the heat kicks on in the house, the stink bugs warm up and start becoming active and emerge from hiding, driving homeowners nuts. Because most folks usually have no idea where the bugs are harboring you can only treat directly in cracks and crevices around baseboards, door frames and window frames and hope the insects will emerge where you have sprayed. After they contact the treated areas it can take several hours for them to die. It is still worth spraying now to get rid of some of the bugs, but you will keep seeing them until late spring when they will emerge en mass and leave your home. They do not eat, mate or lay eggs while indoors so need to worry about any damage or future baby stink bugs. This year you can be proactive by stopping these pests before they move in for the winter. You should spray a product such as Demon WP outdoors around your door frames, window frames, vents, eaves, around the bottom of your foundation, and any other crack or crevice where an insect could gain entry once a month August-November.

While Invader HPX probably will kill sewer flies, it is must be used only in cracks, crevices and wall voids which will most likely severely limit the contact these annoying flies can make with the application. We recommend using a pyrethrin spray such as CB-80. CB -80 can be used as both a space spray and a crack and crevice spray, making it much more effective for sewer fly control. You will also most likely need DF5000 to treat directly in drains where these flies breed and develop.

Difference between D-Force and HPX Invader?
I have bought the green aerosol can in the past called Invader HPX Residual with Propoxur, and it was great for cockroaches. Now I see a blue can called Invader, then another one called D-Force. Which one do you recommend and what and how are each product different?

If you are dealing with a population of roaches that have been exposed to many pesticides in the past then the Invader would be the better choice because roaches have not shown any evidence of resistance to the propoxur. Additionally, when dealing with roaches we also recommend you use a roach bait gel and an insect growth regulator as a spray should only be used as part of your roach control program. Invader Aerosol can be used indoors, but in cracks and crevices only. Also it CAN NOT be used in residential applications where children may be present. Please keep in mind that the pest must be directly contacted for this product to be effective per the product label
