Visual effect
Parasitized aphid hardens into a leathery black coloured mummy. The adult parasitic wasp emerges through a hole with a jagged edge at the rear of the mummy. The first mummies can be seen in the crop a minimum of 2 weeks after the first introduction.
Storage and handling
Biological beneficials have a very short life expectancy and therefore need to be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after receipt. Storing them for a period can have a negative impact on their quality and is only possible under the conditions described below.
