Maxforce Ant Bait Granule does not have an expiration date. We recommend using bait granules within one year of purchase to be sure it is fresh. When used as a broadcast application the granules will be pretty inaccessible to most animals because they will fall down into mulch or grass where a dog would be hard pressed to find the granules. Also, the very small amount an animal might be able to eat when Maxforce Ant Granules are broadcast should not be enough to cause any issues. If you are planning to use the granules in piles that would be accessible to your dog, you should place the granules in an ant bait station. -
