Details

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations are designed for fast control of German and Brown-Banded cockroaches using 0.05% fipronil. • Child-resistant bait station design
  • Easy peel-and-stick application
  • No mess, fumes, or vapor
  • Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, and other sensitive areas
  • Each package contains 72 bait stations
  • One bag can treat approximately 1,200-1,800 square feet

How Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations Work

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations are all about fast control and secondary kill. Due to Fipronil and its accelerated Domino Effect kill, Maxforce Roach Bait Stations start to kill roaches in just eight hours. And field tests show 75% population reductions in just two days for roaches. The bait formula is that irresistible, and works that fast.

Fipronil is in the Phenylpyrazole family of insecticides and is used in many products when a delayed kill is desired, such as ant and roach baits. Fipronil disrupts the insect central nervous system, causing hyperexcitation of nerves and muscles.

It's also convenient and easy to use. The small roach station bags contain loose-packed single stations and are re-sealable to keep baits fresh and protected from contamination. Plus, the patented inspectable red station lids now have an additional feature: A debossed lid that's index welded to the base, creating even greater bait station integrity. And, the easy peel-and-stick adhesive makes application fast.

Accelerated Maxforce Domino Effect

Our new fast control formula still gives you superior long-term control of roaches compared to contact sprays. The new active ingredient, Fipronil, provides a unique mode of action that works through both ingestion and contact, knocking down roaches that eat or simply touch the bait. Either way, one contaminated roach or ant kills many others where they live and breed. The Domino Effect still achieves population control, but with faster visible results.

What is the active ingredient in Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations?

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations contain 0.05% fipronil.

Fipronil works by disrupting the insect nervous system and provides a delayed kill that allows contaminated cockroaches to spread the active ingredient to other roaches within the infestation.

What Pests Do Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations Control?

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations are designed primarily to control small cockroach species, including:

  • German cockroaches
  • Brown-Banded cockroaches

In addition to roaches, Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations are also labeled to control exposed adult stages of several stored product and pantry pests, including:

  • Cigarette beetles
  • Drugstore beetles
  • Confused flour beetles
  • Red flour beetles
  • Rice weevils
  • Granary weevils
  • Merchant grain beetles
  • Saw-toothed grain beetles
  • Warehouse beetles
  • Spider beetles
  • And other labeled stored product beetles

Where Can Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations Be Used?

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations can be used in residential, commercial, and institutional settings where German cockroaches and Brown-Banded cockroaches are a problem. The ready-to-use stations are ideal for areas where sprays may not be practical or desirable.

Common use sites include:

  • Homes and apartments
  • Restaurants and food service facilities
  • Food manufacturing and processing facilities
  • Schools and daycare centers
  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities
  • Nursing homes
  • Offices and commercial buildings
  • Warehouses and storage areas
  • Pet shops and animal facilities
  • Buses, boats, trains, and aircraft

The enclosed, child-resistant bait station design helps protect the bait from dust, debris, and contamination while allowing discreet placement in sensitive areas.

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations are especially useful in locations where gel baits may not perform as well due to:

  • High humidity or moisture
  • Temperature extremes
  • Dusty conditions
  • Hard-to-service harborage areas

Common examples include dishwashing areas, inside appliances, drop ceilings, vending machines, electronic equipment, and other locations where long-term bait protection is important.

In addition to cockroach control, Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations are also labeled for exposed adult stages of stored product beetles and may be used in food and feed handling facilities according to label directions.

Where should I place Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations?

Place bait stations where cockroaches hide, travel, or search for food, including behind appliances, under sinks, inside cabinets and drawers, and along walls and corners. Position stations close to active cockroach harborage areas for the best results.

For best results, place stations close to active roach harborage areas.

Can Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations Be Used Inside Kitchen Cabinets and Drawers?

Yes. Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations can be placed inside kitchen cabinets, pantry areas, and drawers where cockroaches commonly hide. The bait is enclosed within the station, helping prevent contact with utensils, cookware, and other stored items.

Placing bait stations inside cabinets and drawers can be especially effective because these enclosed spaces are common cockroach harborage areas where sprays may not be practical to use.

Can I place Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations on countertops?

No. Bait stations should not be placed directly on food preparation surfaces or countertops.

Instead, place them underneath sinks, inside cabinets, behind appliances, or in other areas where cockroach activity is present.

How quickly do Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations work?

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations begin killing cockroaches within hours after feeding.

Field testing has shown population reductions of up to 75% within two days, and most users notice fewer roaches within the first week of treatment.

How long do Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations last?

Each station can remain effective for up to one year as long as bait remains inside the station and it has not become contaminated.

In heavy cockroach infestations, the bait may be consumed within 1-2 weeks, requiring replacement sooner. Inspect stations regularly and replace them when the bait has been consumed or the station becomes contaminated.

When should Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations be replaced?

Inspect stations regularly and replace them when:

  • The bait has been completely consumed
  • The station becomes contaminated or damaged
  • The station has been in place for up to one year

The bait reservoir is visible through the translucent top for easy monitoring.

How to Use Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations

Place Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations in areas where cockroaches have been seen or where they commonly hide, travel, and forage for food. Roaches are most often found in dark, warm, and humid locations near food and water sources.

For effective control:

  • Use 4-6 bait stations per 100 square feet of horizontal surface area.
  • Place bait stations near common cockroach travel routes, including along baseboards, corners, plumbing penetrations, and behind appliances.
  • Increase placement density in areas with heavier infestations.
  • Do not use more than 24 bait stations per residence.
  • For outdoor applications, place stations adjacent to the structure in protected locations.
  • Do not spray bait stations or place them on freshly treated surfaces.
  • Inspect stations regularly and replace them as needed to maintain continuous control.

You should begin noticing reduced cockroach activity within several days as roaches feed on the bait and transfer it throughout the infestation.

Room-by-Room Placement Guide

Once you've identified areas of cockroach activity, place bait stations as close to harborage areas as possible. The following room-by-room recommendations can help maximize bait acceptance and improve control. For further information on placing roach bait stations, refer to our roach treatment guide.

Kitchen

  • Between the refrigerator and nearby appliances
  • Alongside plumbing penetrations beneath sinks
  • Inside upper and lower cabinets
  • Inside drawers where cockroaches are active
  • Behind microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, and other appliances
  • Under dishwashers and ovens

Bathroom

  • Behind toilet tanks
  • Inside vanity and cabinet areas
  • Alongside plumbing penetrations beneath sinks

Living Areas, Utility Rooms, and Garages

  • Behind televisions, computers, and electronics
  • Inside closets and storage areas
  • Under couches and furniture where food debris may accumulate
  • Near washing machines and water heaters
  • Along garage entry points where roaches may enter

Outdoors

Place stations adjacent to structures in areas protected from rain, direct sunlight, and other environmental exposure.

Pantry Pest Applications

For stored product beetles and pantry pests:

  1. Remove and discard infested food products.
  2. Clean food spills and debris from storage areas.
  3. Place bait stations according to the standard application rates above.

Once feeding begins, most exposed adult beetles will be controlled within approximately 7 days.

Additional Tips for Best Results

  • Use bait stations within 1 year of opening.
  • Avoid spraying insecticides directly on or near bait stations.
  • Maintain good sanitation practices to eliminate competing food sources.
  • Bait stations perform especially well in areas where gel baits may be compromised by humidity, dust, or temperature extremes.
  • Consider rotating bait formulations periodically as part of a long-term resistance management program.

    OMG! Buy this right now!

    By Sonia on 01/14/2009

    Verified Purchase

As embarrassing as it is having "had" them, I had to write this review! This stuff is amazing! If you're truly tired of seeing roaches or the horrible smell of them when you use the microwave, buy this! I bought Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations and Roach Control Kit#1 (which has the much needed birth control) and I saw a huge difference in 3 days and none, yes none, in a week! I still do 2 AM spot checks in the kitchen and no more roach parties! The stickies on back really work too! Also buy the birth control people! Sounds funny, but logically it works!

    QUICK DEATH TO ROACHES!

    By James on 09/24/2009

The people who make this must have a magician working for them.  Received the package of Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations on a Tuesday and just for laughs set out about 5 bait stations in the kitchen. By the time Saturday got here wasn't seeing roaches during the day and within a week wasn't seeing roaches except for a few sickly ones stumbling across the floor. They have been down for two weeks at this point and I see about one roach every 3 days. The baits even have sticky on them so you can put them on the bottom of the shelf. After you first set them out check the baits after about a week because some of them were empty.

    Unreal!

    By Dan on 03/25/2010

    Verified Purchase

After spending a bunch of money at other stores trying to at least control the roaches in our apartment, I finally gave this a shot. Within a few days, we weren't seeing them in the day at all and within a couple of weeks, we rarely see any at night. I am sold on this product, it did what the pest control company couldn't.

This product is better than good!

    By Kimberly on 12/16/2005

I actually brought this product from a person on the street. The results were remarkable. Within 4 days roaches were non existent in my apartment which had a minor roach problem. Each Maxforce FC Roach Bait Station was effective for nearly 7 (seven months). I have recommended this product to many people who complained of roach problems because of the satisfactory results. This product is effective even in a tenement where roaches are prevalent. I highly recommend Maxforce for your pest control product when fast and effective results are desired. 12/16/2005 This product is better than good, it is EXCELLENT!!

Sort Questions
Q
When does the Maxforce FC Roach bait stations need to be replaced?
A

The Maxforce FC Roach Stations can last up to 1 year if there is still bait left inside.  The stations have a translucent plastic top so you can see the bait tray inside.  In a bad roach infestation, roaches can eat the bait in as little time as 1 or 2 weeks.  You should replace the station once the bait is gone, or if you feel the station has become contaminated.  Otherwise, as long as there is still bait inside, it will be good for one year.

Q
Should Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations be placed inside kitchen drawers - where the silverware is??

I am renting a house and previous tenent has bait stations right inside kitchen drawers. I have two children (ages 7 & 9 years old) and am especially concerned about poisoning not only roaches but people! Where should bait stations be placed in kitchens? Are they safe to handle when removing from walls and drawers?

A
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations can be placed in kitchen drawers. The bait will not be coming incontact with the kitchen utensils. Being able to apply bait in drawers, is great because you cannot apply a spray in those areas. The Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations will not harm you if you touch them.

Q
How do I get rid of German cockroaches in a car ?

i did the cleaning part, and ive been using sticky traps but i still see them around. what products do you recommend

A
You could use a roach bait station in your car such as the Maxforce Roach Bait Stations or the Advion Roach Bait Arenas. The roaches would eat the bait and share it with the other roaches and this will help eliminate the infestation.
