    Can I use this in potted plants? If so, how much should I use for the small area? I have Japanese beetles.
    The Beatles are digging down into the dirt as well as eating my plants. I would like to eliminate them. Also, I will use this on my lawn. But for the small area of the potted plant, I was not sure how much should be applied.

    Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules are intended for applications to turfgrass and selective landscaped areas only per the product label instructions. It does not list applications to containerized/potted plants.

    Can I put this down and plug it with St. Augustine grass plugs right after?

    Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules would not interfere with seeding or cause any issues for the seed.

    Combine with fertilizer or fungus control?
    Can this be combined with fertilizer or Fungus Control products? Assuming the fertilizer or Fungus Control being used does not have restrictions.

    It is not recommended to apply and insecticide such as Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules with a fungicide, it is recommended to apply them about 1 week apart from each other.

    Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules is not labeled for control of armyworms but if you are using it for any other insects on that label you can apply it at any time.     This sounds like a great grub preventative. What can I use as a curative now?

    Yes, Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules is a great product to apply prior to egg hatching as directed for grubs. Here is a great guide on prevention and treatment of grubs that includes product recommendations.

    Can I use this on my lawn without damage?
    Got moles seemingly bad wanting to use Merit on the yard and get watered in then come back with repellent? Hope this helps

    Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules does not contain any herbicides. It is safe for lawn applications if used as directed.

    Does Merit 0.5 kill Army Worms??

    Merit 0.5 G Insecticide Granules is not labeled for control of armyworms.
     
    For lawns, we recommend using Talstar P Liquid Concentrate or Talstar XTRA Granules to control armyworms.
