MGK Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Insecticide, formerly Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrins by BASF, is the only microencapsulated pyrethrum product that provides quick knockdown and residual control in and around residential and commercial structures. Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrins offers 7 to 14-day residual control, Microcare 3% CS is perfect when you want the soft appeal of pyrethrum and need the residual of a microcap. Microcare 3% CS features SmartCap Microencapsulation Technology that disperses an effective barrier of insect-killing pyrethrum capsules over the application area for increased pest exposure and residual. Exclusive SmartCap Technology creates a shell around the active ingredient (a.i.) that increases residual control by protecting it from ultraviolet rays, weather, porous and greasy surfaces, and absorption into soil or organic matter. It also acts as a barrier to diminish exposure to humans and pets while reducing plant phytotoxicity and staining. Through this technology, we are able to construct tiny, mobile lethal doses of the a.i. that can attach to and move with insects. Microcare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrins has several versatile uses including on animal applications.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
- Shake the container well. Fill the spray tank half full with water.
- Add the appropriate amount of concentrate according to the dilution table.
- Add the remaining water to the spray tank and mix well.
- Agitate the material while using.
- Use a 50 mesh screen in the sprayer.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Apply via crack and crevice, direct, spot, or surface application methods. Do not apply as a space spray.
Hose-end Sprayers
Dilute, as desired, according to the dilution table or specific directions for use. Shake the sprayer to disperse the product and occasionally shake during use to maintain dispersion.Compressed Air Sprayers
For surface applications, apply as a coarse, wet spray at the rate of 1-gallon diluted product per 1,000 square feet of the surface. For crack and crevice applications, inject product at the rate of 1 second per foot. In long-running cracks, move the injector tip at the rate of 1 second per foot.Void/Crack and Crevice Application
To treat insects harboring in voids and in cracks and crevices, use equipment designed for void applications. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for proper equipment setup and operating pressures. Place the tip of the applicator at or into the crack, crevice or void to be treated. Apply product in short bursts while keeping the tip in position. Allow the air stream to push insecticide deep into voids. Apply in such a manner to limit dripping and runoff on structural surfaces and plants.DILUTION RATES
- Clean out: 4 - 5 fluid ounces of concentrate per 1 gallon of water
- Maintainance: 2 - 3 fluid ounces of concentrate per 1 gallon of water
- Outdoor Use: 1 - 2 fluid ounces of concentrate per 1 gallon of water

I love this product bcz with the pyrethroids ban in California this product has broad application label and the residual is very good for summer with only a few call backs.
Different than the aerosol

Seemed to have some effect when used, but not near as effective as the aerosol. It clumps up a lot in the sprayers and in the bottle. Not sure if all batches are like this.

The product can be applied outdoors. It is a contact kill with some residual activity so it will not have as long of a residual in areas with direct sunlight over a longer period of time.QDoes Microcare 3% CS contain Citronella ?Can this product be mixed with latex and oil based stain products ? In what ratio ?AMicrocare 3% CS Controlled Release Pyrethrin does not contain citronella. We do not recommend mixing it with anything other than water as described on the product label.
