Neogen Ideal AluShield Water-Resistant Aerosol Bandage is a must-have for equine first aid kits. It is an effective aerosol bandage that shields simple wounds of horses and other farm animals against external irritants. Contains 40 mg of aluminum powder each gram which provides a protective barrier while allowing the wound to oxygenate. This water-resistant aerosol bandage is perfect to use on castrating, summer sores, abrasion, minor cuts and scrapes, dehorning, and tail docking. Removable with water and soap, leaving no antibiotic residues. It guarantees convenient, quick, and painless application plus, it has an exceptional adhesion even when applied over ointments and salves. Safe to use also on small animals including cats and dogs. Storing below 50 degrees Celsius temperature is strongly advised. Available in 2.6 oz aerosol can.

Shake well before use. Clean the area to be sprayed. Apply a thin layer of AluShield powder to the area. Repeat daily or as directed by a veterinarian.
Water Resistant
AluShield contains a proprietary carrier that causes the active wound-protective formula to adhere to the skin without washing off in hot or cold water. AluShield can be easily removed with soapy water to inspect the wound. The usual reapplication of AluShield is daily every three days to ensure that an optimal bacterial barrier is maintained.
Essential To Wound Recovery
AluShield Aerosol Bandage allows the wound to oxygenate (breathe), aiding wound healing. AluShield may also be applied over ointment or salves.
