One of your previous question responses (regarding NyGuard vs Archer IGR) claims that NyGuard is photostable outdoors for 4-6 months (versus the more typical IGR, which might last 14 days outdoors). Is this a misprint, or is that claim actually documented somewhere? I haven't seen that in the label, but I'd be happy to be wrong. For that matter, are there any IGRs that last 3+ months outdoors?ADepending on the target insects, one treatment of NyGuard IGR can last for 6 months against cockroach nymphs and crickets and up to 7 months for fleas. It takes 15-20 gallons to treat around the farm every three (3) weeks. At .4 mL per gallon of water, it would take 60-80 mL. This would cost between $250.00-$350.00 just for the IGR.ANyguard would actually be your most cost efficient product as it only needs to be applied once every 5 months outdoors. It has the longest residual outdoors to sunlight and rain over all other IGR's which only hold up about 14 days.

I will be applying to my fescue lawn. I have read it has up to a 7 month residual so do i just need to apply in the spring and that will get me through the season?ANyGuard IGR needs to be applied every 30 days according to the label for outdoor applications. The 7 month residual is referring to some indoor applications. For turf applications you would follow the general outdoor rate of 12 ml per 1,500 sq ft in sufficient water to cover that area.

Not sure how big the tank is on the sprayer. Haven't got it yet but want to use the products together in one outdoor application.AYou should plan to use 1 2/3 oz of Permethrin SFR per gallon of water. You will need to add 3ml of NyGuard per gallon of mixture. The solution should be sprayed once every two weeks and a minmum of two treatments cycles.

Also I see it says it will last up to seven months indoors but how long will it last outside in direct sunlight and rain. I currently do not have a problem I will use it as a preventative with Talstar. I was thinking 12ml per gallon ever three months. Thank you.ANyguard IGR has a 3-5 year shelf life as long as it is stored at room temperatures. Nyguard IGR can be applied one a month outside. It is only photostable up to 14 days outside and can last up to 30-60 days in the soil depending on soil conditions and weather. Â

I have been trying to kill fleas in my customers yard for a year now. I have use regular Talstar and now twice used the new stronger version. I have also put down granular Bifen down as well. It takes about 200 gallons to spray his yard. Any suggestions?ATalstar is a great product to control fleas outdoors. It sounds though, that you are missing one key component. The Insect growth regulator to stop the reproduction cycle. We would recommend to mix Nyguard in the with the Talstar and water.
