The Organocide Bee Safe 3-in-1 Garden Spray RTS Quart With Hose End needs to be made directly to the plants themselves after transplanting, it would not be effective applied to the soil beforehand.

Organocide Bee Safe 3-in-1 Garden Spray RTS is not labeled for chicch bugs and can harm pollinators that are in the area during application or that contact a treated area long enough to get a lethal dose.

The manufacturer advises on the product label the “WATER” position is to rinse/clean the bottle after use, but NOT to rinse the application from the plants you’ve just treated. See below for basic instructions for operating the Organocide Bee Safe 3 in 1 Garden Spray and refer to the full product label for more information on timing, application rates and recommended repeat intervals. Directions for Use:
Do this 1st: Flush hot water from hose prior to connecting to spray head.
Do this 2nd: Make sure the valve on the Sprayer Nozzle is in the "OFF" position.
Do this 3rd: SHAKE WELL and connect to garden hose securely and turn the faucet on full force. Do this 4th: Turn the Sprayer Nozzle valve to the "ON" position.
When finished: Turn the Sprayer Nozzle valve to the "WATER" position to rinse and clean.

This granule is applied at the rate of 2.3 to 4.6 Lbs/1000 sq ft (100-200 lbs per acre) and should be irrigated immediately following the application with 0.25 inches of water to activate (release from the granule) the insecticide. Chinch bugs can be one of the most difficult pests to control in grasses and higher application rates may be required to control populations that contain both nymphs and adults during the summer.
