The manufacturer recommends using any insecticide solution within 24 hours of mixing. Any time longer than that, can cause the Phantom Termiticide Insecticide to separate and lose it's effectiveness.

Read Full Answer »You are exactly right. You fill the sprayer with 1/2 gal of water then add 3 ounces of Phantom followed by the pre-measured amount of the IGR. Agitate the mixture well then add the other 1/2 gallon of water. Agitate one more time and then you are ready to spray.
Phantom will kill termites that come into contact with the product, even at the higher dosage. We do recommend that you read and follow the product label instructions to be sure you are using Phantom the way that the manufacturer intends it to be used.
We would definitely recommend going with the veterinarians advice since they are the experts on the type of birds you own.
