Product Overview

Three Herbicide is a powerful herbicide that targets established annual and perennial grass weeds. Contains Clethodim as its active ingredient which provides excellent control of unwanted weeds. It offers high-performance control, making it ideal for maintaining crops. The Section Three Herbicide is fast-acting so it is convenient to use and easy to apply. It has the same fast-acting control with Section 2 EC Herbicide but with lesser storage and handling cost. Newly formulated with 50 percent of the active ingredient per gallon compared to the 2-pound formulation. This herbicide is compatible to be tank mixed with other fungicides, insecticide, herbicides, and micronutrients. For best results, it is highly recommended to apply and tank mix with a surfactant crop oil concentrate such as InterLock Adjuvant, Winfield United Destiny HC, and Superb HC. Available in a 2.5-gallon jug.

RESTRICTIONS

  • Do not plant any crop for 30 days after application unless it is registered for use on that crop
  • Do not apply if rain is expected within 1 hour of application, as control may be unsatisfactory
  • Application in Nassau and Suffolk Counties of New York State is restricted to no more than 10.67 fl. oz. per acre per season
  • Do not apply under conditions of stress. Applying under conditions that do not promote active grass will reduce herbicide effectiveness. These conditions include drought, excessive water, low humidity, and extremes in temperature, and grasses either partially controlled or stunted from prior pesticide applications. Grasses under these kinds of stressful conditions will not absorb and translocate effectively and will be less susceptible to herbicide activity.
  • Do not apply a postemergence broadleaf herbicide within one day following application of the herbicide or reduced grass control may result.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fill clean spray tank 1/2 to 2/3 of the desired level with clean water. While agitating, add the correct amount of the herbicide, making sure that agitation makes a rippling or rolling action on the water surface.
  2. When tank mixing this product with other labeled herbicides, add water-soluble bags first, followed by dry formulations, flowable, emulsifiable concentrates and then solutions. Prepare no more spray mixture than is required for the immediate spray operation.
  3. Add any required adjuvants (crop oil concentrate, a nonionic surfactant and/or nitrogen solution).
  4. Fill spray tank to the desired level with the water.

    Powerful

    By David on 03/20/2020

I like this stuff. It was death on the annual ryegrass that was threatening my vetch cover crop. I will be using a lot of this in the future.
