Southern Ag Black Snake Sulfur is used to lower soil pH in areas where an acidic soil is desired. Mix 1-2 pounds per 100 square feet. For best results, apply in the early spring, and apply when temperatures are below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This product works well for plants that like acidic soil, such as azaleas, hydrangeas, and blueberries to improve overall color and health. It helps plants improve water absorption and utilization and promotes disease resistance. Black Snake Sulfur can be used on lawns to establish an acid soil condition and correct soil alkalinity.

holy crap does this stuff stink

Yeah, sulfur stinks but this stuff is so fine it stinks for days. I would recommend pelletized sulfur over this.

The description says it will raise pH when acidic soil is desired. Hopefully, the product will lower the pH, making it more acidic.
